| Come all...Come all...Here is my dawgy furfamily YT'ers, I have five dogs, four of whom are yorkies, and my oldest is a smooth fox terrier. Two of my yorkies I showed in UKC and AKC until two years ago when for personal reasons, I stopped showing. Let me just say I miss the showing. It was a lot of work, but so much fun. After I stopped showing, I decided not to re-home them and am so glad I kept all of them . Now I just love them. I am including pics of all my children as I call them. I am going to start with Darwin, hence my user name. I called him Darwin, not only because I was evolving as a handler, but I liked the part of his WIN name at the ring. am including a picture of him when I showed him in the 9-12 of an AKC show in Charleston, SC(this was to be my last ). I had a young man show him for me because Darwin has always been a frantic type dog. I should have called him Rolling Stone, because he is like no other. He goes the road less traveled. Unfortunately, much later, he began developing seizures, so I have had to bear this heartache. So, will post other pics of the other children. But here is Darwin |

| Here are recent pics of Darwin http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/images/smilies/smile YT'ers.... Thanks for your patience. Having trouble getting these newer pics on YT. Let's see if I remember to do this correctly. These were taken earlier today. I will send pics of the other children shortly. Thank you for letting me share my children with this great YT family. | Here is General Patton Yt'ers, This is General Patton. I call him Patton. He is the oldest of my yorkies. He is an oversized dog, who is out of the breed standard. I was dissappointed at first with his size, BUT he is the most loving and sweet boy. He is a good playmate to my Bella ( a smooth fox terrier). I love him so much. Here are some pics of him. |

| Thanks for replying. Yes, Patton is over 10 lbs. I haven't weighed him as it no longer matters to me. After having two with seizures, am glad he is healthy! |

| And here is the ONE AND ONLY.....LIPSTIK YT'ers, Here is my heart. Her name is Lipstik (spelled this way). This little girl is my heart. She got me started on the showing in both AKC and UKC. She did very well in UKC, winning many ribbons, rosettes, and a few small prizes in local events. My mentor (Laurie Wolfe) who used to be on YT was a great friend and mentor. She and I went to many shows, in GA, MD, WVA, SC. Lippy (that is what I call her) strutted her stuff very nicely for me in the show ring. She was patient with me as I learned the ropes and learned to be a handler, though of course I was a novice competeting with professional handlers all over the country. Recently, Lippy has begun having seizures and this has been a great heartache for me. She is being seen by a specialty hospital, as well as her vet, This has cost me lots of money and suspect it will continue to be that way. But she is worth every penny!!!! She is on a seizure medicine, named Kepra. Right now, she is doing well(no seizures in the past five months). They've wanted to do some surgery on her to rule things out but I've held back because I fear the risks of such a surgery. Now, if her situation worsens I will reconsider. You will see the pics I took of Lippy yesterday and today are different than when she showed and that was because they had to shave her for some of the tests she had to have. And then I asked the groomer to cut her coat so it would be more even. I hope you enjoy her as much as I do. She is a sweet, but feisty little girl. She definitely is alpha over my biggest dog, my smooth fox terrier. Its funny to see this little thing (I've let her put on a little weight, since I don't know what tomrorow will bring) take dominance over my smooth fox terrier. Her being sick hasn't changed her nature I am glad to say. But that's my Lippy! Thanks for letting me share her with you guys! |
