| Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Hi everyone - it's Saturday and we had pretty high winds and lost power but it was NOT as bad as it was susposed to be and I think the Girls sign worked !!! Rita is going away YAY ! Thank you to everyone who cared - we still have very high winds in Jasper TX and storms in Houston and big wind but I think we aren't going to get any worse damage than trees and power being down - I know there are 2 States - LA and TX breathing MUCH easier today - I sure am - I actually was scared - I wa so proud of myself - we did lose part of our patio and I got out there in the wind and fixed the rest of it - so Chanel and Cheri still have cover from the sun outside but preparing for this hurricane was alot of WORK ! Then funny thing was my dad on the phone the other day (when it was bad bad news on the Hurricane) .... they stayed too - I called my parents like 3 times and my Dad says...."Villette...I've never heard you so worried - are you scared ?" and I was like...."Ah...Dad .....This is a Cat 5 Hurricane ....OF COURSE I'm SCARED...I want my Daddy !" HE was laughing - he's never heard me say that !
