| What a cutie-pie! I love the one ear up, one ear down! Hercules was like that when we got him and thought it was just adorable. Both went up shortly after, then both went down. But both are up now. I still love the pics of him w/ one or both ears down though, I think it's a cute look. But yorkies are cute no matter what in my opinion!!

| Your little Pixie is adorable!! Get used to being "useless" ... Toto will be 19 months tomorrow and I have been in that same "state" for well over a year!! Everything we do revolves around her ... hubby wants me to retire and stay home with her ... and I pretty much have!! I don't think that being in "awe" of these babies ever ends ... we still sometimes sit and stare at her!

| Today Pixie has been runing around like a mouse !! She's hilarious... I am glad to see her getting more active... she was pretty shy the first day, she even looked sad... I guess she is missing her litter mates & her mum too. But she is now feeling more confident & playful. She wouldn't sleep by her self during the day... I have to put her on my lap or just hold her, so she can go for a nap! At nights she sleeps in her crate, and it's been good so far... just a little complaining initially... but after a couple of minutes she realizes that it's not working and then she goes to sleep nicely I think something it's wrong with her floppy ear though... She does scratch it quite hard sometimes (maybe that's why it went floppy)... I am taking her to the vet again tomorrow, just in case it's an infection...

| Such a doll baby! Congratulations!!! That ear might be flopping due to ear mites. Oscar scratched his pretty bad. We went to the vet and he was so tiny they had to put a tiny scope in his ear and project the image to tha tv screen to see what was in his ears...they were full of mites! You could see them crawling around and everything! The vet said the mites were having an Amway Convention in his little ears! I have never seen anything so gross in my life. They treated him with a one time application of drops in his ears and eradicated them! That was great...no more scratching! Best of luck with your baby!!! Oscar's Mom |
