Newbie just saying Hi - YorkieTalk.com Forums

I am new to this site but having lots of fun reading and learning about so much new info. Just wanted to say hi! I do not yet have photos of our puppy we get her this Thursday! We already named her Karlee and have prepared our house for our new baby Yorkie! We are excited and learning and reading everything we can before she comes home. I will post pics the end of the week. Also she is 13 weeks old.

Thank you all! I'm excited to post pictures and to get our sweet little gal Karlee!
I forgot to mention she is 13 weeks old and I'm guessing she is around 3lbs right now. This will be my first Yorkie so we are full of questions, excitment and nervousness! LOL This forum is great and I'm learning lots of great tips and tricks and just overall great info. I have 2 children both boys and they are very excited to bring their new puppy home. They are 8 and 3 years old. My husband and I have promised our boys for 6 months we were getting a puppy- I just wanted to be sure of the right little dog and to wait until our youngest son was old enough to really be around a new dog for the house. Our oldest son has been scared of dogs the past few years after the loss of a pet that we had he only likes small dogs now and he loves our little Yorkie that we are getting I think this will help him out to get back used to dogs as well. I am excited to meet new friends and learn as much as possible about the love and care for a Yorkie. This forum is wonderful!!

Welcome to YT! Prepare yourself...you will never believe how much you will love little Karlee. Yorkies have a way of wrapping us firmly around their little paws in ways that no other dog can manage. YT is a great place for information and understanding from people who know what it's like to love a little furbaby. Can't wait to see pics of Karlee!

Well, we need to talk when you get her...I can use some support from someone with a baby! I got Bella and Bear a week ago yesterday. They are 11 weeks. Things are going well except Potty training is an everyday challenge. They are such a joy and so much fun!!

Aww they sound adorable I will be happy to make new friends and we can chat about our puppies! I'm already thinking if I can handle the challenge of having 1 Yorkie I might get a Morkie from the same lady that sells the Yorkie's so my little gal will have a playmate. I bet your 2 babies love to play!! I like their names too cute!

Thank you! I am already loving this sweet little puppy I can't even imagine how much more by the time we get her home! I will be posting pics like crazy LOL! Good to meet you and hope to talk to you more I'm sure I'll have several posts with many, many questions for advice!

Welcome to YT! It is so exciting adding these babes to our lives! They are terrific dogs! I have two Roxie who will be three and Ryder who will be a year in Oct. I am also adding a new puppy but not until Sept. I am here if you want to talk. Cant wait to see pictures!
