| Allie at the beach! There was supposed to be a "Dog Days of Summer" at our local beach today with venders and games, etc. Well, it rained early this morning and that scared the venders and etc off, but not the doggies! Here is Allie on Dog Beach in Panama City! (Seriously, less than 100 yards of beach that they are allowed on. ) We went to a different beach (Windmark) earlier this week (no restrictions on dogs), and I was going through that bag earlier. Allie hid a sea shell (no critter, just broken shell) in the bag!! That's the only way it could have gotten there, because I didn't unpack that bag on the beach. Needless to say, Allie LOVES the beach!

| How cute! she wanted to bring home a souvenier of the beach! I didn't even realize you can't bring your dog to certain beaches when we took Uni to Coronado it was getting later in the day, and all the lifeguards were already gone. I guess that's one way around the no dogs rule. Heh heh.

| Looks like Allie had a great time, what a cutie! The first picture framed along with her sea shell would be adorable.

This area of Florida is really not dog-friendly. In Panama City, there are few places you can take your pup. In the next county over, in Destin, you must have a permit to take your dog in public (even service dogs, even tourists) and even then the non-service dogs are only allowed out during certain hours.... etc... She loves the beach! Thanks for all of the compliments!

| What if they roll in the sand is it easy to get out of their fur, looks like you had a great day, we have to travel miles to get to beach so haven't tried it yet

| It's actually really easy to brush out of their fur! She even got wet and sandy (She loves to roll) and we rinsed her off at a showering off facility in the parking lot and bathed her when we got home.

| It's a wonderful place for college Spring Breakers or during the summer any family, but dogs aren't the most welcome of guests. We have pet-friendly hotels, and there is dog beach, and the shopping center and park next door are pup-friendly, as are the baseball park nearby. There just isnt much to do... period... in PC unless you are the on the beach. And of course, there is Allie and I!
