| our new addition on april 11th 2009 I took in 3 Yorkies in which the owner gave up in another state. The dad Cooper has a great home with a friend, cody had a home but came back we still have him, he is the son of the 2 from a previous litter. Lilly is the female and was in heat during transporting them from TNN to GA in that time she arrived pregnant. We already had one yorkie Boomer awesome dog. So now on June 7th Lilly gave birth to 4 lil puppies! We have a house full! tried to put on pics but it says they are too big! will try another way. |

| How do you all have so many and survive? I had just put down a 17 yr old child springer killed me! it was alil too soon to do this but i jumped in to help... now I feel overwhelmed. Boomer is awesome no issues ever! but these are a different story no 2 are alike. but the housebreaking WOW. Cody gets neutered in the am lets pray that works but at his age it is now a habit! He has gained weight and doesnt cower, so much more personality now with us. So i know we did good in all other ways except the marking his territory. Lilly.. is very protective and had attacked 2 neighbors who were not a threat-or even close???? now with babies... oh boy. If anyone has any advise how to help these 2--Cody has several people who want him but I know they will not tolerate his peeing so I have to work with him to make sure he has a good home for good... either here or elsewhere.. Making sure the babies have good homes.. I am requiring them to read on here and read about yorkies cause they are not for everyone.. alot of work but i love mine !!! |
