| She's adorable. Wouldn't it be boring and confusing if all Yorkies looked exactly the same? It can take two years before a Yorkie's coat and coloring are set. All Yorkies deserve to be loved and those who would question Avery's breed may be snobs or just plain mean and/or ignorant. Breed standards may be important for show dogs but many a true Yorkie come in a variety of colors. Some Yorkies need to have their ears gently taped to strengthen the cartilage if you want to to stand up. To others it's just not all that important. Anyway..she's a doll! |

My furkids Donating Member | My little Lillie is the same color...maybe a little lighter (you can't tell by my avatar...she was still young) She was A LOT darker as a pup. I call that color silver and tan. Sadie is the black and gold.

| I woud say she looks very yorkie to me. I think that color is quite common among yorkies. In fact, I believe Roxy's parents were that coloring if I am not mistaken and they are DEFINATELY yorkie!
