| That is our favorite vacation site! How fun to watch you baby enjoy it so much. We stay at the Days Inn on the beach, the sand is never hot which is a plus and the water is beautiful. I will have to take Wriddle when we go in August. Any places that are doggie friendly you can share?

| I love going down there but stay at my mom in laws timeshare(No furbabies) Anyway, last year I called a Vet's office that advertised as Pet Hotel. Well, when we went to get Cookie to take her to the beach, her paws were wet with urine. When we got back from our outting my hubby asked to speak to whoever was in charge. A nice enough lady came out front and he told her that we were mad Our baby should not be standing in pee...The lady apologized and stated that they would groom her free of charge(well yeah ) and I will never go there again...Anyway, did not mean to get on a soap box, I looked on the internet and found a breeder that boards dogs(Only 3-5 small dogs-nothing over 20 pounds, I think). She was so nice and Cookie loved being there...While there...She had some yorkie puppies in a pen outside and Cookie would run up to the pen and put her nose up to the cage and all these puppies would run over to her and "nubs" would be wagging all over!! If you want her name, just let me know and I will get it for you Quote:

| Color me PINK! I just reread your post....As far as places that are dog friendly, the new Pier Park shopping center is dog friendly and while we were there, Guy Harveys restaurant would let you eat with your dog on the patio as well as Raggae J's and I think Baja would let you bring them and eat on the patio with them. Jimmy Buffet's Margaritville would NOT, so we did not go there...We went to Guy Harveys! Very good and Pier Park is across the street from the dog beach!! There is a park down there that allows dogs, but we never found it! I hope that this helps!! Quote:

| If anyone goes down that way, you must take your furbaby to the dog beach!! The 2 that we took absolutely loved it...Which is amazing because the maltese mix is skiddish!

| The Frank Brown park very near lets your furbabies come play! They just opened up a dog park up Hwy 231, depending on traffic a small drive from the Beach. Thanks for the info about the eatteries at Pier Park, though. I did not know that
