| I had overheard hubby threaten to toss Yodi into that mix there... I do not know what had gotten into him to have triggered such rude behaviour. Needless to say, I quickly paid up and hightailed out of the danger zone! |

| So by now, it had gotten late although it seems recently daylight lasts quite a bit longer. Note dusk falling as we arrived and was showing the scenery off to Yodi. ![]() At the same time, we had to get her dressed for the occassion. You know how animals *pfft* aren't welcomed inside food establishments... well, we needed Yodi dressed especially for this purpose. She needed to enter the restaurant in stealth mode. What better way is there than to attend as *gasp* BATMAN. ![]() And as you can see, we had killed just enough time to sneak in under the cover of darkness. |

| ![]() ![]() We had to explain to Yodi that this wasn't that kind of establishment. It was not for "casually naked diners". Yodi took the meaning way out the wrong way. As a matter of fact, it's an unspoken, but sometimes posted, rule that "no clothes, no shoes, no service". Yodi would do well to remember that. ![]() This is a 70's looking waterfront dining lounge with a beautiful waterside patio called "Nu". ![]() |

| This place sure loves using sea salt in excess but the food is generally yummy, and fortunately, not everything is as salted, and many you can just eat around. ![]() Mmm, pulled-pork poutine! And finally, not rock-hard fresh made house bread! It keeps changing in variety, but this one is pleasant if you don't hit the part of crust that's just sprinkled with sea salt as if it was a solid sheet of the stuff. |

| Beet Salad--LOVE beats, Heart of Romaine Salad with Anchovies sauce and bacon... did I say they LOVE an unbalanced salt filled diet? And an all sustainable seafood selection. ![]() Well, Yodi couldn't finish off the poutine by herself, so that was barely touched. Must have been the JapaDog she had just hours ago. |

| Once we got home, Yodi barely had enough time to gather her land legs once again... ![]() When Pichu comes along and tackles her down! ![]() She is relentless! If we didn't know how much Pichu actually LOVED Yodi, we would have cause for concern. She just doesn't get how to keep her friends! Poor girl. ![]() Stepping on them and holding them down is NOT going to save her friendships. After witnessing this onslaught, I just had to save Yodi. I had tucked her in while Pichu ran around looking for her and luckily, she gave up the hunt sooner rather than later. ![]() And on that note... it's time for bed? Or is it another new day already?! ![]() Wow, I think we're sleeping in today. |

Yodi's been tweeting on-the-go though! Thanks! It was the hubby's idea to do that as he was the one who had greeted Yodi first! He took her around Richmond before Yodi got the chance to meet Pichu and myself! ![]() Quote:
Pichu's really been on her back... literally. But I do hope she's having a good time! We'll have to spy on Yodi's thoughts on twitter to be sure! ![]() ![]() I'm just amazed at how cute Yodi looked in person! Seriously. I admittedly commented on how she made for an ugly yorkie when we all know all yorkies are gorgeous but she was the exception. BUT, I take that ALL back now. When I first laid eyes on her, wow, I thought she is pretty darn cute! I don't even notice so much that her eyes are close together! And wow, if it was intentional, her ears were made so perfect! I kept repeating to hubby today how I thought it was either really great craftsmanship, design, or a fluke thing that the ears move like our yorkie's ears move! So expressive!

| I don't know if she's done more or if Pichu's done more pestering her! I told you she's DESPERATE for friends but she keeps scaring them away like that! I need to make some more doggy owner friends for her sake but I'd have to choose ones who won't be convinced that she's out for blood because she really isn't! That's just the way she learned to play interacting mainly with our cat and her squeaky toys! |

![]() And Pichu didn't mean to give her a hard time. She just doesn't know how to show her love gently.

| Living My Yorkie Dream Donating Member | Holy sight-seeing!!! ![]() I think Yodi has seen more in one day with you then she will see in all of her adventures put together. You are one wild and crazy tour guide! Speaking of wild and crazy, the antics of your little Pichu (she's a cutie, BTW) with Yodi are a hoot I'm so glad that Yodi got to you safe and sound. I am LOVING your updates and pictures! The animation of Yodi escaping her box was a SUPER way to start your picture updates (so cool), the pics of where you've been are great, LOVE the batman disguise (hardly recognized that it was Yodi ), and the twitter comments and your posts here have got me laughing out loud!![]() You do know that with a start like this, we're going to expect more of the same for 4 more days. ![]()
