| Brand new from Alberta, Canada Hi everyone! My name is Lisa and I'm from Alberta, Canada. I've just been a lurker for awhile, but figured it was due time for at least an introduction. I've had yorkies since the day I was born...thank my mother for my obsession with the wonderful creatures. Our first yorkie was a beautiful male. Unfortunately, he was run over by a car when he was only a couple years old. After swearing to never get another dog, we ended up with another male yorkie that we lost in 2002 to kidney failure. We now have 3 cuties...of course, after swearing we'd never get another one after we lost our last male..haha. Tori is our 6 year old purebred female that we rescued from an unfit home when she was just over a year old. Her tail was badly docked by her owner and is miles too short and she was matted pretty badly. She's still a mystery at times to us and has many trusting issues (especially with men). She's definitely the alpha female of the house. She had a litter of 2 boys and a girl almost 3 years ago, now. We almost lost her during that process (she is a tiny girl..just over 2 lbs..), so we have no intentions in repeating the process. I definitely cried for at least a week when they went to their new homes, it's impossibly hard to not get attached!! Diva is our 5 year old 3/4 yorkie 1/4 poodle female that we picked out the day she was born. She's definitely another princess, but adores playing with anyone who will throw a squeeky toy for her (or else she'll just sit there and squeek and bark until you do it for her anyways..). She's our porker..difficult life when you need to put weight on one dog and take weight off the other!! Tucker is our new boy as of last week! He's our mutt...1/2 yorkie, 1/4 shih tzu, 1/4 poodle and is 17 weeks old. We went to check in on an ad we had seen online (purely out of curiosity and with no intent to bring a puppy home) and the place was such a disaster and she had so many dogs and...well, now we have our boy! He had one sister left who we didn't take (I was heartbroken..), but as of today, she is owned by a friend of the family..so it worked out in the end! Tucker is actually a blast and learning very quickly. The girls are so not impressed with the situation one bit....haha. So, after my novel...it is picture time! The first picture is Tori on left, Diva with the grass in her face. Second is Tori. Third and fourth are Diva. More pictures to follow.. |

| Couple more pictures. 1 and 2 - Tucker (apologies for his scruffiness! He's had 2 baths in 4 days to try and rid him of the awful smell from his old home...and it's raining! Silly curly hair..haircut time soon!) 3 - Tori's pups - littlest boy on left and our crazy girl on right. 4 - Tori's littlest boy. He was by far the cutest and he was the HARDEST to not keep. He grew up to look exactly like his momma. Thank you all for looking!!! |

| Hello to you,Tori,Diva and Tucker and Welcome to Yorkie Talk.. All 3 of tour babies are adorable. I just love Diva's top knot. Tori had beautiful puppies ! I don't think I could've left either one of them go! Tucker has the cutest little face and little boys are to be a little disheveled, I think. Mt Baron even when he's groomed looks like he was out wrestlinh in the dirt all the time. It must be a boy thing. I'm glad you found the site. Enjoy...Have a Happy Easter with your 3 cuties,
