| What a beautiful little girl! I love the photo where she is sleeping along your leg hugging it. Eye goobers are just a part of life and easily forgiven.

| LuLu is a real sweetie ! Eye gunk is a way of life for most Yorkies. I wash Baron's face eveyday with warm H2O and comb till dry. I also use show tears and that works well too!! Your little girl is a cutie. Welcome both of you to YT. I enjoyed the pictures...You can tell how much she loves you...

| She is adorable!! For eye gunk- I use a flea comb, and wet it down with warm water and just comb the eye gunk out. It works wonders! It gets every last bit without pulling too hard.

LOL...her head is tilted a bit sideways. She was sitting on my lap and I called her name and she looked at me like "Huh?"... Thanks all...I love her so much. As far as your suggestions...any suggestions on getting her to let me get a flea comb close enough to her to help comb out the gunk? LOL...You should see me brushing her head, back and legs, it is quite a sight I am sure, ha...I can't imagine trying to comb anywhere near her eyes. I do the warm washcloth thing and I even have some eyepads for tear stains that I use...but it doesn't last long. It doesn't seem to be as bad as in the pics (those were taken 5-9 days ago). If she is anything like the rest of the people around here, the allergens in this part of the country have been making everyone teary-eyed of late. I can't go outside without looking like I am bawling.

You can try changing her food to grain free...if she has a grain allergy...teary can be worse. Other people report great results with only giving distilled water. My Reese's eyes tear....but improved 110% when I changed his food.

| She's precious My little Luna gets the eye gunk pretty badly no matter what we do. Every couple of days I just wet it down (if it's super bad I use a bit of Cowboy Magic, or No More Tears detangler) and use a tiny flea comb to get it off. I got the comb at PetSmart, it's got a green and purple handle and it's Li'l Pals brand. It has two sides, one fine and one medium-ish.
