| Topknot! The fist pic, Baxter is trying to get his ponytail off! The second one, he is shying away from the camera. The third one, I'm about to give him a treat, so he is licking his lips with hunger! Fourth one, close up and personal! I actually just re-did his top knot and made it closer to his eyes, and was able to get those loose strands of hair up! He looks so cute!

Donating YT 10K Club Member | Cute first topknot. You'll get better results if you use latex bands. You can either buy grooming bands...or girl's hairbands. A package of 750 is around 2.50. It contains a variety of sizes...they are thin and very elastic-tic. Don't pull them out at night...cut them. Just a suggestion.

| My little girls hair is thin on top of her head and I have tried just about everything and nothing stays in. I tried putting a ban in first then put the barrett in under it and still no luck. She looks so cute with a bow in too if I could only keep it in. Anyone have this problem? |

They are much lighter in weight...so he won't even notice his hair is up.

| Good job on the top knot. I use the latex bands as well, they are much easier to work with and they can't rub them out. They are also easier to work with. I have bought so many bows but can't use them because they have the bands attached that are hard to work with. Does anyone know of bows that have the latex bands attached?

The bands on bows aren't meant to hold the hair. You use a grooming band then place the bow band beneath the grooming band.

Also, you can use the rubberbands when you get braces. I had braces and have TONS of little rubberbands. They work great!

| He's adorable. He will get use to his ponys. Do use the bands and when you first put them in, don't put him on the floor right away. Give him a treat then maybe play fetch immediately to keep his mind off of it. Sometimes this will work. It worked when I first started training Bella to keep her top knot in. I use the bands then bow with the alligator clip over it. Works great! Again. Tooo cute! |
