| mollysmum54 thanks! I looked long and hard for a female that had a mellow personality to match lexie. I think I did good. I had Madison spayed last week and Lexie looked for her all day. That to me is a good sign. thank you for the welcome  |

|  Welcome but I have to warn you: this site might lead to addiction! Saw your picture and I'm so jealous: California!!!!!! Beaches!!!!! Sunshine and warm weather!!!! And best of all: it's such a dog-friendly place. Correct me if I'm wrong. I've been to CA many times and it seemed to me, that people and businesses are just more excepting of dogs and their owners. More dog parks, dog beaches and places you can bring your pooch. The Midwest has a lot to learn in that area, I think. Well, this is now a lengthy welcome. | johnniewalker thank you for such a nice welcome. Yes we have a designated doggie park in our small town ( I'm kinda in a semi rural area) but the doggie park is nice they have a designated small dog area and a large dog area. I've been very blessed with being invited to a yorkie play group where we meet m-f for about 60-90 mins and let the dogs play. All are girl yorkies except my maltese who also is a girl. and one occassional boy poodle. Thats how I came to want a yorkie. I had been comtemplating a second dog a sister for Lexie and after playing with the yorkies decided to look for a yorkie rather then a second maltese. and I AM SOOOOOO GLAD I DID!! Madison is such a joy in my life and has added so much to our home. anyways(see I'm long winded too) its nice to meet you! |
