| Newbie...Tuckers mom Hello, Just wanted to say "HI" and tell you all how wonderful this site is. It is a wonderful resource for us new yorkie owners...I came across this site because of housetraining issues...I have a 1yr old male yorkie Tucker and a 5yr old male Golden, (Bailey, my husband's dog, as he makes sure to point out when he is walking both of them). He was a birthday gift from my husband and my girls. He is great and has such a personality...I swear he thinks he is a large breed dog....He walks all over the Golden...Golden is awesome with him and puts up with soooo much torture. I have had to put my cat on Prozac becuz he would chase her all over the house...I am still having housetraining issues, any advice?????? I also have questions regarding their coat, are there different kinds of coats? When he comes from the groomers his coat is sooo smooth, after a few days it is coarse...is there something I should be doing on a day to day basis or every other day to keep his coat silky...what about cloths??? when I take his shirts off he has some serious mats under his little pits...will his hair get longer??? SOoooo many questions....looking forward to alll your help...... |
