New puppy pictures...she is TOO cute!
 

Hi, I am to to YT and actually haven't even gotten our puppy yet (we will get her one week from today), but I wanted to share pictures of her that the breeder sent me. Her name is Tinkerbell and she was born 11/9/2008! We have never had a Yorkie, but are very excited for the adventures ahead! I have enjoyed reading about all of your trials and triumphs and can't wait to have our own (sounds crazy but true). When we actually get her, we will post new updated pictures. Thanks for letting me share!

The people are out of Missouri. I am not sure they are actually "big time breeders," but they have the momma and their friends have the daddy. She is dual registered AKC and APRI (I think, I don't have my notes in front of me).

Are these the three puppies in the litter? Maybe my eyes are deceiving me because I see three separate puppies (could be that I am still sleepy, though.) :) :rolleyes: Anyway, cute pictures and you will enjoy owning a Yorkie.

Well, I only asked this because the two of her, with the one being in the basket, she has a very obvious white chin and she doesn't in the others. Even the one where she is eating looks totally different then the white chinned pictures and the even the first two that you shared. :confused:

If you completely trust your breeder, then go with that...I was just curious about the pictures. Maybe she would be willing to send you a couple more that she could take for you this weekend.

And yes, puppies will change, but typically you will still recognize certain features or shape of their head or size of their ears (etc.).

I agree with you! In fact, I made a comment to her that I was surprised by the white chin and white eyebrows. I have never met her before. She lives in another state, but we have talked many times. I don't think she is actually a "breeder" so to speak. She has the mother and a friend has the father. She told me they had two puppies; a male and a female. The male was sold already and the female was this one. Supposedly, the eating picture was taken 1/5 and the others were from 1/9. Now that you say it, I have been examing the pictures and do notice that the paws even look a bit different. She told me she gave her a bath and trimmed her hair before she took the second set of pictures, so I don't know if that could account for the difference or not, but I am going to definitely ask for more pictures. I think she looks much larger in the second (basket pics) set of pictures than in the eating breakfast picture....what are your thoughts. I am SO concerned, because my children are SO excited to get her. We have been planning on her for two weeks now. We are supposed to pick her up next week! They will be CRUSHED if we can't get her! Oh gosh, I am sick! Thanks for your thoughts. If any others have thoughts or concerns, please feel free to comment!

Honestly, I thought the same about the size of her. She looks like a good sized puppy (the ones with the white chin), but the other photos looks to be a smaller Yorkie...except for the one eating....that looks like an average size Yorkie. :confused: Gosh, I wish I could be more help but I am just not sure what to say. Go back and look at the very first picture that you posted...the one that says 'adorable' in the right-hand corner....that does NOT look anything like any of the other pictures that you posted (ESPECIALLY the ones with the white chin).

I wasn't trying to upset you...I just noticed such differences in these pictures, but like I said, it could just be my eyes playing tricks on me. :rolleyes:

Tammy, it is not you that upset me....it is the thought that she is trying to scam me and my childrens' reaction if we don't get her. I emailed her and told her my concern and asked for more pictures and an explanation. Like I said, I made a comment to her about the puppy looking so different w/ the white streak on her chin and eyebrows when she sent it, but I guess I just assumed it changed enough after the haircut and that is why it looked so different! There have been other little things that (now after this conversation) make me uneasy. Originally, She said she was tiny and would only grow to an estimated 3.5 lbs. She said that she was 10 weeks when I talked to her a couple of weeks ago, but when I asked her her birthday she said 11-9, which would make her 10 weeks on 1/16 the day we are supposed to pick her up.

I thought I asked the right questions, asking to see pictures of the parents, asking about the dogs bites and parents bites, are they registered, their disposition, are you a large breeder blah, blah, blah! I sure hope there is an explanation for this!

I agree. those dogs are not the same. I was a victim of a scam. i sent all this money to a "breeder" and never recieved a dog at all. I was so hurt. So just be careful.

One thing, she didn't have me give her a deposit. She said that she trusted me and if we wanted her she would hold her for us. We are going out of town Monday and Tuesday, so she said she would keep her for us until Friday so she wouldn't be left alone. I emailed her and asked her for new pictures, because I do notice in all of the pictures I have you can't REALLY see her chin all that well (except for the two really new ones). I do know she said before she took the last pictures, she gave her a bath and a haircut because her hair was getting a little long she said. "Maybe" the white hair was under there?!?! I hope so. When she sends new pictures, I will post them. Thank you for your thoughts, I really do appreciate it.

I do hope you get it straightened out and that it works out. Can I ask where in Missouri she lives? If she lives close to me (I also live in Missouri), I would happy to try to see what I can fnd out.

I have never seen one develope a white chin as they get older. Normally, if they have the white chin, they are born with it and it changes into tan/gold as they get older. If she is telling you that it appeared after her being groomed, that doesn't really make sense.

To me, these two pictures says a lot about whether or not she has been sending you pictues of the same puppy. :(

She lives close to Bethany, MO. We live in Nebraska, but were going to meet her halfway next week to get her. I thought I was a pretty good judge of character.....I wonder what her motive would be. I mean, I didn't give her a downpayment or anything. Why would she lie? My only thought is that this puppy "appears" than the one that I agreed to purchase! I guess I don't get it!

I have never heard of Bethany, MO so I assume that is not close to me.

Maybe it's all a mix-up and she can explain why the pictures are so different.

I am so sorry to tell you this but I have actually SEEN in person the puppy in the 1st picture. She is from a place called Puppies for Sale, Dogs for Sale, Teacups and Toy Breed Puppies, Florida Puppy Breeder in Ft. Lauderdale, FL and they are located in Pembroke Pines, FL. They were formally known as Wizard of Claws and they are bad news. Scammers steal pics from their website all the time. I am not saying that your breeder is for sure a scammer but all I know is that I have seen that puppy, held it, and almost took it. It is a long story but I bought Ralphie from these people before I knew any better. Since he was so sick they offered to give me a free puppy and that is how I got Agnes. I feel like I basically rescued her. Anyway, when I went to look at puppies before I got Agnes, I saw the pic of the puppy you posted in the 1st pic and I fell in love with her. I went to see her in person TWICE and ended up getting Agnes instead.

I hate to have to tell you this but that puppy's pic was definitely taken from them. I don't know what is going on exactly but I promise it is the same picture and puppy. I am so sorry, please be careful before purchasing from her.

The last pic is still on their website!! About the 6th one down on the right. IT is a totally different dog from the 1st pic! Yorkie puppies for sale

Bethany Mo is about 1 1/4 hrs from KC Mo. I got my Tootsie from a lady in Mercer Mo not to far from there be careful Mo is 1st state for puppy mills and Bethany is the worst that being said say pass I am with some others this is not the same pup!!!!!! Find a reputable breeder check with others on YT I am sure someone can locate you a pup. Do not have or pay for this pup till you see parents and pup in person please. :aimeeyork:animal-pa:animal-pa

I went to the website you linked and there is a picture on there that is the EXACT picture that was sent to me by her! The puppie in the picture is actually a male for sale by the people on that website! Everyone of the old pictures are from this website I am pretty sure. I am ABSOLUTELY disgusted! I am really holding myself back right now, because I want to call and give her a piece of my mind! I have emailed her 10 times telling her how excited my children are about this puppy! She was going to charge me $500.00 for a puppy that isn't even the one in the pictures! I can't for the life of me figure out where she benefits?!?!?!

I can't express my gratitude to you all for bringing this to light before I purchased something that wasn't what I thought it was! My kids are CRUSHED!!!!!!! I am disgusted!! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Now I am planning my next w/ with this piece of work.

I tried to reply, but for some reason it didn't go through! I went to that website and it is VERY obvious that these puppies are the same ones that she emailed me. You are right one is exactly the same! I still don't know what she benefits, but I note that she is trying to sell a maltese on the same site I found this one on! I am going to turn her in there too.

The picture on the right side 14 pictures down or so is the exact picture that this lady sent me....the puppies name is Noah and it is a MALE! All of the backgrounds and even the lady's watch and arm are the same! She totally stole their pictures! I think I will email these people and tell them too!

I don't know your "puppy budget", but I would happy to recommend some great breeders! I am sure other members would do the same for you, too! :) You and your children WILL get a Yorkie puppy....just take your time and make sure that you are dealing with a reputable person. I would hate to see you get one that ends up being sick or not the puppy that you were promised. :(

Out of curiousity what is breeders name and how much does pup weigh and have you done a google search on breeder?

I am so sorry!! I really didn't want to be the bearer of bad news but the second I saw your picture I knew where it came from. What a terrible thing to do to a family. It just makes me sick. At least you saved yourself and your kids from much worse heartache. There are so many great breeders on this site and I know that you can find the perfect puppy for your family. I know your kids must be crushed...poor babies, that is such an awful feeling.

I am so GLAD that you replied. I was beginning to get this sinking feeling once I had a few replies and was hoping that someone would give me something concrete!

Her name is Chrissy Wiig (if that is here real name)! She said that the puppy would be 3 to 3 1/2 pounds full grown. She even sent me pictures of the puppies "parents" too. Who knows, maybe she has a yorkie, but it certainly is not the one she represented it to be. She is a LIAR! I emailed her the other day and asked her how much she weighed and she said she didn't know, but she would get back to me! She never did. I am going to call her and tell her what I think, but I think I will wait until I am not so upset. My children are destroyed and I am going to have to let that die down before I call her or I will say something I will regret!

i am so sorry that it appears you were scammed :( that makes me so mad! :mad: thank goodness you found YT and posted pictures of the puppy - YTers always seem to come through for each other! :)

there are so many great people on this site and i would definitely take up on the offer above (from tammy)! you WILL find yourself and your children the perfect addition to your family! :)
