We have about $500 bugeted for a puppy! My kids saved all of there Christmas money ($200.00) and we are chipping in the rest! Our last dog ran away and never was found! The kids were devastated, so we started searching for a new puppy! We put a deposit on another puppy and before they got our deposit check they accepted a deposit on the same puppy from someone else (luckily senidng back the deposit). Then we finally find the puppy we want and this happens! UGH!

It appears $500 isn't really much for a good Yorkie, so I don't know what we will get! I hope we find something in this price range or we will just have to wait! I am so disgusted right now!

Thank you for saving us from a scam though, I really do appreciate it!

I saw this puppy and also wondered if you would be interested. She is asking $650 and you would be able to go meet the breeder, see her home, parents...

Aww, I'm so sorry you guys had to go through all of that. The puppy that was for sale in your area is super cute though. I will still hope that you can get her. I am happy that I recognized the puppy but I still HATE that this happened to you. You will find the right girlie, I know it.

Gosh, I am so sorry the "breeder" you were working with turned out to be a scam. She is probably using other pictures because the pup she is trying to sell you is a puppymill dog and/or sickly....IDK:mad:

As I read through this thread, you being from Nebraska is what first caught my eye.......WELCOME! I am in Nebraska also. Good to have you here & hope you stick around. Also as I read the dissappointing news, the Bellevue female puppy popped into my head also. The YT member selling her joined last August when her female was pregnant. If you go to her profile page & do a search of the threads she started you can read all about it.

Thank you all so much for your caring responses! The lady in Bellevue and see about that puppy! We can't get her until the middle of the week next week, but if she could wait it might be a match! Nice to "meet" you LadyLuck! It is so nice to meet people close to home. We are so excited to welcome a yorkie into our home! Your Yorkies are beautiful! I just checked out the pictures of the ones in Bellevue and they are absolutely cute! She looks fantastic! We live between Omaha and Lincoln, so she isn't really all that from from us at all!

I really hope it works out for you! I just knew that you were being lied to when I saw those pictures, but I wanted to be careful of how I worded everything. I am glad that you never sent money to her! Please post pictures when you find your new fur baby. :)

I just read this thread. I'm sorry you got scammed but glad to hear you have found a good and honest breeder to work. Can't wait to see pics of your baby.:)

I'm sooo sorry this happened:( I will look forward to seeing post pix when you do get to welcome a new pup into your home.

Can you believe that the "breeder" emailed me this morning give me a big song and dance! She is insistant that she took those pictures and that it is "our" puppy! She cannot understand how in the world someone would get those pictures, but she assured me it was the puppy she had! She says it must be a broker that swipes peoples pictures and puts them on their site (only every YORKIE picture on that site are OBVIOUSLY taken by the same person--you can see her hand and watch in almost all of the pictures). She said she would take a picture of the puppy when she gets home on Tuesday, but that she cannot understand how this happened. She also said if we wanted another puppy "no hard feelings."

OMG, the nerve of some people!!!! She is obviously lying through her teeth! My guess is the puppy w/ white on her is their actual puppy! The other pictures are from the breeders website and they use the adorable pictures to sell her sub-standard puppy! Really, once you are caught with your hand in the "cookie jar" so to speak, just admit what you did and move on! She sent me several emails this morning even stating she is contacting the broker I linked in my email and a large breeder in her area trying to figure out how her puppy pictures were stolen!! I am so disgusted! Obviusly, we will NOT be buying her puppy! What kind of people do things like that.......lying at the price of children and families that work hard for the things they have!!!

WOW. Well I certainly will not stand up for the place where she stole her pictures from. They are not good people but I can tell you this much, the puppy pictures that they have on their site are indeed theirs. Both of my babies came from them, so the dogs are definitely there. They didn't appear out of thin air. I am not saying they are good breeders, they are not. I am sooo thankful to have gotten my Ralphie, but if I had known better at the time I would have NEVER bought from them.

Anyway, I can't believe that after she was caught red handed, she still tried to defend herself. It is insulting. She knew what a big deal this was for your family and she did it anyway...ughh. Again, I am really sorry you have to go through this but it will only bring you to the puppy that is out there and meant for you and your family.

Well happy news!!!! I met w/ Huxer this afternoon and have decided to purchase their last puppy! We will be bringing our "Bella" home on Thursday! She is a doll and we love her already! Thanks Jenni! We think she is beautiful and can't wait to get her!

As for the crazy lady, I haven't heard back from her yet, but I did send her an email telling that I am quite sure she is lying and that I felt she was doing it because she was trying to sell a substandard puppy! She is a NUT, but I am just thankful to you here on YT for saving us from future sadness and problems from dealing w/ this lady!

I am sorry about the original scam, but am so glad you didn't send her money. It could have been a lot worse on your kids if they knew their money that they saved went to someone like that. So glad you found us, and can't wait to see your OWN pictures of the new puppy!

I just now saw this thread and am SOOOO thrilled that it has a happy ending! When I first saw the pictures, I felt there was something wrong. I'm so glad you found YT and got the help you needed! It's a sad world with so many scammers out there that don't seem to have a conscience and no regard for the people they are hurting!
