| WOW I would have been upset, that is my worst fear... the groomer ruining my baby when it's time to go to one lol.. sad that I am already thinking about it, I love your babies by the way, I was looking at your albums and your parti is just gorgeous! (it is a parti right? lol) Anyhow he is only 11.5 weeks and has the fluffiest coat ever lol.. it's hard to keep up with him, seems as if his hair grows by the day ... I am glad that you warned me ahead of time, I would have cut it off and then probably pondered why the top know wasn't working out too well later... even though it was a great suggestion (to cut it down) I do want a top knot so it probably won't work out for us. |

| Donating YT 10K Club Member | Well she didn't really ruin him. He was still cute but I was very ticked off. The rest of his haircut was PERFECT. I haven't been back there...and she groomed them all regularly. So she lost $120 a pop off me. Lots of people and groomer's trim the hair there and/or cut bangs....it's normal...just not what I wanted. I had always kept Ramsey's cut...but that was before I got Reggie and specifically asked his breeder. Ramsey's topknots always looked skimpy to me....now I know why. Thank you for the compliments...and no Reggie isn't a parti...he's a biewer. Here's his latest pictures....I let that hair grow out the entire summer. If I don't put it up now...he looks like the world's smallest sheepdog. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/my-...ng-affair.html

| Donating YT 10K Club Member | Speaking of being ruined....one time a groomer gave Ramsey and Reese...schanuzer's cuts. SHAVED NOSES. Now those hair cuts I hated and cried over.

Can I ask what is their size at maturity biewers I mean? He is GORGEOUS! I never even heard of a biewer before that is why I thought he was a parti , is a biewer a style of yorkie ? I love him, he's too cute! | |

| Donating YT 10K Club Member | The weight standard for biewers is the same as yorkies...4 - 7 pounds. Reggie weighs in at 7.5...his hair makes him look heavier. The color standard is obviously different....tri colored heads, white tummies and legs...black or white saddles, and at least a white tip on the tail. Biewers originated from Germany from yorkies. The full name is Biewer Yorkshire Terrier a la pom pom. They have been imported here since 2005. There tends to be much more color on a biewer than most part's I've seen and that's really what won me over.

| Donating YT 2000 Club Member | Pet Silk has a pet safe hair gel. I buy it from Petedge.com. I agree with everything Bchgirl said--it is really hard to get those little hairs to grow out but when they do you will have a beautiful topknot. Also, the more you put the hair up, the more used to it being up for the puppy. |

| Donating YT 2000 Club Member | I had to go back and look at Beauty's topknot, lol. Most of the time we do just simple ponytails with a puffy front. This helps get the dog used to having his hair put up and they learn to not try to get the bow out of their hair. |
