| Gizmo's Adventures in Corpus Christi Over the weekend we took a road trip to Corpus Christi to see our niece and nephews and decided to take Gizmo along. I have to tell you that he was an angel on the trip. I am so proud of him. He only had one small potty accident that was easily cleaned up. He traveled for 6 hours each way like a champ! He had little kids fighting over who could "play" with him, and he didn't snap once. He did have some issues with the thin walls in our room. Every time he heard someone knock or a loud noise, he would bark until we told him it was okay. He only had to stay in the room by himself once...when we went to my BIL's church service (methodist minister). But he was fine when we got home. He also got to see the ocean for the first time. He really didn't know what to make of it, so it was funny watching him. He was a great travel companion. -Take me, take me! -I'm staying in this suitcase until I'm sure I'm going -really? I can go? -Abigail, I am not a stuffed toy! But I love you too!

| LOL! Yes, we had to supervise those interactions pretty carefully. Thanks! They are my niece and nephew, so I'm a little biased, but I think they are cute too.

| Judy, those pictures & your captions are so....cute. What a good boy, Gizmo was on the trip. I don't know why but I was so happy that I got to show Rudy & Lucky the ocean also. Gizmo is gonna want you to take him back.....there to play in the water. Thanks for sharing.

| That's funny because it really was a big deal to me to show him the ocean. I don't know why either, except that he's like another child to me, and I always wanted them to have a variety of experiences.

Therapy Dog Donating Member | Gizmo Izzy really thought you were in that suitcase coming to visit her..lol. Judy I hope to bring Izzy to the beach someday too. I think it's amazing to get them to experience all sorts of things just like your kids. Funny how the kids just think they are like little stuffed animals. We don't have tiny kids in our family right now but it's like that when we go visit the Peds in the hospital. All the kids wants to pick Izzy up and hold her so tight. Love the pics.
