So I went out to a dedication of a new city park today. I brought my video camera and still camera and planned to do something for my dog blog. They were planning a promenade around the man-made lake, with dogs in costume.

Well, I was late for the walk. So rather than take pictures of the park and everybody else's dogs, I just snapped a few of my gang hanging out in some wildflowers. I haven't posted pictures of them in a while, so I thought I'd remind you what Eddie and Jack look like.

Oh, only ONE other dog was dressed up, in a lame-o tie-dyed T-shirt. Eddie and Jack were much cuter, but the judges gave it to the little girl who owned the other dog. How unfair! Little girls win everything! :(

Those boys are so cute! The flowers are gorgeous.

Not me! Little girls don't fight fair anyway. They always call "Daddy!" I didn't call Daddy when we lost! :mad:

Hallie has asked me to print out the pic of Jack in the flowers to put next to her bed :)

If I were a judge I wouldn't have thought twice about a crying little girl! You would have won hands down (or paws down)!

Thanks, everybody. SimonandHallie, you will be the judge of the next contest we enter. Especially if little girls are allowed to enter.

Marcerella, I had to dog Rusty. Two dogs on leash in a crowd while carrying a huge camera bag is my limit. And since Rusty pulls on his leash, he lost. He got his own walks earlier and later, though, so I'm not feeling too terribly guilty.

What great pics, Mike! Eddie looks adorable as usual, and Jack looks like a little angel:).

Besides....WE know who the REAL winners were~ they just gave it to the little girl so they didn't have to look at her pathetic little sad face when she saw she lost to the big guy, LOL:p.

I've wondered where you all had been lately~ I miss the pics and videos of the boys!

Ahh Mike how super cute are those pics..the wildflowers are gorgeous and the boys always so handsome. Hey better enjoy those flowers while we can cuz before you know it there will be white, yucky stuff all over them.:(:eek:

Hey Mike, I'm sorry your boys didn't win, I'm pretty sure they were cuter than that other dog after spending time with all the fashionistas in here!
