No she isn't. She's in Northern CA. Actually I lucked out because I think she's the only one in my town. lol She really took her time because he wasn't liking even being brushed. She made it a good experience for him so he won't freak when we bring him back. Do you have a comb for your guy? THe brush I was using didn't work at all and the dematting tool hurt him. She suggested a comb and it works great for me...that is AFTER he was groomed. No way to get through the parts that had started to mat before that though. Wow, lots of Morkie owners on here! Great to see. The pics are adorable Tmirtes1! I can tell Jax is going to be kind of a silvery blue on his back when the black grows out. They are like chameleons! | |

| I didn't know they could change colors like that! My baby has a teddy bear color to him right now . I'm wondering if it will change to another as he gets older. You have a great groomer in your town Sagers! I googled up a bunch of groomers in my area. I'm going to call around. BTW, I love the picture of Jax sticking out his tongue. It's adorable!! |

He's almost 20 weeks and we brought him home when he was about 10 weeks from a rescue. I attached a few pictures of him, he was very golden and has lightened up as he has gotten older. He just has his first groming today. Boy does he look like a yorkie now! 1. about 3 weeks 2. 12 weeks 3 and 4 today after the groomer

| Jaxs is sooooo cute! aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh! When Pebbles was a puppy she was really dark like Jaxs and now she is almost silver on her back. You will have to wait to see what color he will be as an adult. Quote:

| I was waiting to see how long it would take someone to flame this topic...didn't take to long (how disappointing) What you said is a very broad generalization and is not true in every case. These dogs are lucky to have such wonderful owners that love them despite the fact that they are a mutt (oh the horror of it all!) |

| My neighbors have a morkie! My Gosh he's cute! So much fun and such a sweet personality! I keep threatening to steal him. This little one got the best traits of both breeds.

| If you don't have anything positive to say, I suggest you not say it at all. Yeah yeah free country, I know. However, this is meant to be a morkie love post. Haters, move on! |

| Missing Yoshi Everyday! Donating Member | BYB/Puppymills also breed purebred dog and that is where the majority of their money comes from if I am not mistaken....

| OMG!! All these morkies!! How adorable!! I luv 'em!! Yorkie talk has been such an accepting forum where people are able to share the love of their pups no matter where they are from and what they look like! I would say ignore the negative comments and know that your dog is just as precious as all the rest ![]() Please don't keep this from sharing more pictures, the majority of us will adore him and keep looking for more as Jax gets older ![]() Thanks for sharing

| Aw they are all sooo super cute!! My question for all you fellow morkie owners.. how to you keeps there coats soo nice and from looking scruffy? I try to comb luc daily, but he absolutely hates me for it, so I'll only sit there and try to pick a part a mat once he is in a deep sleep, I'm guessing from what you said sagers.. i might need to have him shaved to get rid of the current mats, but an tips on how to keep it nice once it starts to grow back in? what shampoo/condition/ detangler do you use when u comb him? I've bought a couple of different things from petsmart, but they seem to dry his skin.. |
