| You don't like it, really??! I LOVE it! I think he looks adorable. I like shorter cuts on the boys tho. I don't like all the messy puppy hair lol!

| I think it's adorable!! I was scared to take Sophie to the groomer, too, at first. I was so scared they'd botch her pretty look! I'm trying to grow out her hair, and thankfully I have a groomer that so far does exactly what I ask. I only have the ears tipped and the "sanitary" groom done that includes the feet, rear, & part of the tummy). I was so scared to go to the groomer and I still may learn how to do it myself. But I think your baby is adorable! |

I know exactly how you feel. The very first time I took Motley in to be groomed they almost completely shaved him. Face and body I cried and cried. The only good thing was when his hair did grow in it was even more soft and silky then before. I really wish I could find a groomer that listens instead of just nodding their heads. | |

| I really like her cut! Maybe I'm just unusual, but I don't think either of these two cuts are bad in any way, shape or form and it's actually how I prefer them! LOL

| Your pup looks great! Sorry you didnt get what you wanted. If it makes you feel better, my yorkies face was shaved all the way down for surgery and it is growing back fine... I think all will be fine in no time, good luck! |

| I think your baby looks great! It is a shock to see them after their first trim though. I groom my own because I have five and cannot afford to take them to a groomer. I only wish I could do as well as your little one came out. Does anyone know what size blade should be used on the body for a "puppy cut"? Do you use just scissors on the face or a blade too?

| Hi, Celia at 5 mos will need to go to the groomer soon, I'm not impressed with anyone I have visited and asked questions. I guess it will be the same as going to a hairdresser... better bring a picture.I'm looking for a yorkie calendar in hope that we can find exactly what we think we like. She is so tiny, I'd like her to look fuller and I do not like the legs shaved. I thought maybe a puppy cut, not one groomer understood what I meant. NEED PICTURE, the perfect picture. |

| Love the name Darwin!! Actually we named our six month old Darwin also . We did our own grooming at home and he actually looked just like your little guy. I totally understand that you did not get what you paid for - I'd be really ticked off too. Just thought you would like to know that your little puppy can hold his head up high - he's really beautiful!! |

| Our baby Riley went to a professional groomer one time, that was all it took, our poor baby looked like a shaved rat. We took in pictures of what we wanted and asked them to use that as a standard, still same result. We are looking for a different groomer now. Fortunately, the babies do not care if we think they are having a bad hair day, in fact at times I think Riley prefers a bad hair day. lol |

| Thor's Human Donating Member | Heh, pretty much exactly the same thing happened to me. I told the groomer last time to leave Thor's face "as full as possible", meaning do not cut any hair unless you want to trim it slightly for evenness, etc. He came back with the EXACT facial cut yours has. I was mad too, though I agree with everyone that your guy looks super cute. I complained here, and someone told me that groomers assume you want the hair around the eyes and nose cut unless you specifically tell them not to. I haven't taken Thor back to the groomer yet, but I printed out a set of SUPER specific instructions for them, ie: - Ears - Pluck - Hair on ears - Trim - Brows - DO NOT CUT! - Nose - DO NOT CUT! - Under eye - DO NOT CUT! - Whiskers - DO NOT CUT! - Beard - Trim etc, for every single part of his body. He might be biting his tail area if the groomers expressed his anal glands for the first time. |
