| My baby-Emily! Hello all; I am new here! My name is Jordyn. I have a one and a half year old Purebred Yorkie! Her name is Emily. I've had her now since she was just a puppy; I got her last year from a breeder. She was an early Christmas presant to me and my brother. My older brother, who is allergic to dogs, has not had any problems with her. Which is good! But as it were, Yorkies are excellent choices of dog breeds for people with animal allergies. Which has been great! She is an amazing companion, and I love her to bits! A little bit of info: She was just fixed about two weeks ago; this was a hard decision for our family. We were actually going to buy another Yorkie, male, from the same breeder we got Emily from, and breed Yorkies--as they sell for quite a bit of money over here! We then realized, it was going to be hard to let go of the little guys, I know I wouldn't be able to do it. Plus, there was the risk of cancer if she was not fixed, so the final answer was to get her fixed! Lately, she's been acting quite tired, which is normal. Shes a lot more eager to curl up and sleep. Anyways, here is a few pictures of her! http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i2...x/IMG_0005.jpg http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i2...x/IMG_0028.jpg This is my baby, and I love her soo much!! -Jordyn |

| Congratulations! She is adorable! I think you did the right thing by having her spayed rather than breed her. There is SO much involved in breeding correctly...you can read more about it on YT! It is best for most people to have a Yorkie as a pet to love and cherish!!!!!
