That's a really good idea! Surely there's some kind of iron-on tape that you could use to cover the raw edges after you cut it off to prevent it from fraying. There are five in a package, so that would be a good use for them!

Iron on tape! That's a good idea! I love the trim they have on them now, but I know I wouldnt' have the patience to sew that on so well.....I'm going to keep that in mind. And yes, there's 5 of them and he's only worn 2 and doesn't really need them anymore b/c he's not licking that area! But they're just so cute with the little designs on the front I hate to see them go to waste. Thanks for the idea!

instead of putting it on him backwards i put Smokey's on him just like you would a baby and then i just cut a little round hole for his tail...it is so cute...
