Olivia will sit patiently in her crate until she hears my alarm. If my bf sets an alarm or gets a call for work on his cell phone, she doesn't make a peep. She knows my alarm means it's time to wake up, and starts to bark and jump up and down in her crate (as if I didn't remember that she was in there!) She is pretty good about keeping quiet until my alarm. I usually don't sleep more than 8 hours (if that) and she'll stay quiet until my alarm- whether it's 7 a.m. or 10 a.m.

| it's a tie on who gets who up. Our dog and our alarm go off about 6:30 everyday. Thank God for it though or I would of been so late to work monday. we had the alarm set at 8:30 because i had to get up for a hair appointment on sat. and we forgot to reset it. But my little furry alarm clock got us up at 6:30 without fail. He sometimes sleeps in til 7:30 on the weekend. My husband, bless his heart, gets up and takes him out to potty while i hit the snooze. After potty my hubby puts him in his playpen and then comes and gets me up for the shower. We shower, feed the little guy, spend a little quality kiss time with him, and then head off to work. He sleeps in a crate in the guest bedroom. Some day when he's better potty trained he might get the whole room, we'll see.

Morning kisses are the best. If I didn't have the kisses I'd be mad about getting up before 6am That makes it all worth it!

Yep, we love to wake up before the sun even rising around here....now matter what time we go to bed we are always up before six...which is actually good, it gives me time to play with them before I have to leave for classes... Morning kisses are the best!!! Although nighttime kisses come in a close second....

When my alarm goes off in the morning Sango rushes up by my face and gives me puppy kisses & snuggles to ensure I wake up.

Most mornings I am woken up at about 5.30-6 by big sloppy puppy kisses which I really can't complain about too much

It has to be a Yorkie thing (or puppy thing). We all kind of sound a like. Winston use to wake us up at 5 or 5:30am. When I started to give him dinner later at 6:30 pm thats when he learnt to sleep in a bit. On weekdays, Daddy has to get Winston up at 5, carry him outside, puts him down to do his business, bring him back and wipe his paws then put him back in bed with me. It's the best. Winston is very sweet in the morning, he snuggles with me until I get up. Then we play with his duckie, I hide it under the covers and he goes in and finds it. On weekend, the three of us wake up together. It makes my heart swell just thinking about it. I now have a perfect family! What can I say.... it takes a Yorkie

Hey Winston's Mom! I don't think the photo posted- I'd love to see it, can you try again? I must have missed your other posts. One of my best friends lives in Lexington, but lived in Columbia for years. I'm dying to move there some day. She's getting married next year and I'm very much looking forward to seeing the area. She loves it there!

Here is the picture...sorry about that... I forgot to crop the picture down so the file was too big. We moved down here from Pennsylvania. We lived in New Jersey, Northern Virginia before we moved here. We love it down here in Columbia. Drop me a note if you come down this way.
