| Genie goes swimming I just wanted to share in the excitement that my girl Genie went into the pool yesterday afternoon and had alot of fun. At first she was hanging on to me and a little scared but after I was surprised to see her swim. Boy can she pick up speed swimming it was so funny. I gave her a couple of classes to show her the way out of the pool by where the stairs are just in case she jumps in one day she will know how to swim out safely. I know I still have to baby sit her in the pool area in my yard until I am sure she knows how to climb out. I do not want an accident to occur. Next Sunday I will take her in again.

| I really don't know at what certain age they should go in the pool. My Genie girl is about to turn 8 months in August. I guess she should be old enough, I took alot of care not to let water stay in her ears and all the other little petty things you do with your "real" babies when they go swimming. Just in extra case you know... She was so adorable. I need to take pictures next time and post them to share with all of you.

| Genie Girl~ You have a very smart mommy to teach you pool safety. It is so important for us little yorkies who have pools to know how to get out in an emergency! I love to swim too and my mommy put me in the pool at about 7 months and taught me to swim (nit that I didn't already know how! ) Now I gie lessons to theother yorkies in my house, Princess Chai, Buddha and Baby Ava! Happy swimming and stay safe! Cap'n Hef! |
