I have heard than many dogs testies don't drop until they are 1 1/2 years in medium - large breeds. I would at least wait until he is one year old. Have your vet felt them his self? You should see for yourself if they are their waiting to be dropped!

I do have one kinda side view of him.. he was here today for the first time., and i am just snapping that ole camera.. so I did not get the best shots.. and while taking picture I have 4 yorkies, and my friend brings 4.. so I am sitting here with 8 yorkies.. ( ya yorkie heaven for sure ) and still trying to get pic up.. I will see if I can one more of the best I could get today.. but he is a living doll... he was darn good for 9 months old and not knowing us or our dogs.. got along fine.. my friend is across from us in the motorhome so I will see him for a few days..
I mentioned to my friend that we need to let the vet look at him to check him out today when she arrived here...

That's great! I personally would be worry, it would take great patience for them to drop. Hopefully, by the summer so you can see what he produces. I am so excited for you and this precious male!

Oh Anne,

He is GORGEOUS!!! Great coloring. My Bailey is very similar colored. How much does he weigh?

Sounds like you had a full house...although 8 dogs in normal here...LOL

Zorak also had retained testes and we had to have him neutered.

Our vet said that when the testicles do not descend, they can become CANCEROUS. Please get to a vet and have this checked out.

Thank you, he is seeing the vet in the morning ...it really worries me.. he is to be our stud.. and the breeder told us that her vet felt them 3 months ago.. and that stress of going to a new home could delay this.. I do not believe this... he is as calm and sweet as possible.. does not know me yet.. and I am looking after him for my friend.. so he has been fine with me.. and has been with her for 3 months.. so find that hard to believe..but hopefully will know something tomorrow...thanks...anne

Oh my god, I am so disappointed..

two vets looked at kruse, and said his testes have not come down and they can not even feel a pea... so since I co-own him... and my friend keeps him.. we will have to talk about replacing him... breeder told her when she got him that her vet felt them 3 months ago..he was not cheap...2,500.00 we paid for him...I think I am going to cry..
