| It finally happened ... my second girl came to her forever home with me today Hi Everyone, I know it's been a while since I've posted. Things have been very chaotic with home renovations, work and taking care of Tika. I had pretty much given up on adopting another Yorkie as there always seemed to be some obstacle like money ... distance ... the fact that I have a 6 year old child ... my location. Well a beautiful 12-year-old little girl named "Baby" came into my life a few days ago when I received a call from a local shelter. "Baby" was scheduled to be put down before she was rescued. They didn't want a penny from me, only the peace of mind that she would be in a good home. She has been sleeping beside a very cozy, comfy, soft bed I bought her on the hardwood floor. I guess she's not yet accustomed to being "pampered." She is a little bit afraid and starts barking and howling sometimes right out of the blue. Tika is very jealous but I'm sure will get over it in time. Here is a photograph of Baby ...

| Welcome to your new forever Home, Baby. That is such a very nice thing you did for her. She is really a cutie pie. I too love her coloring. Please keep us informed about how Baby & Tika are getting along. I'm sure they'll be best buddies before too long.

| Oh, Jamie, I am so happy for you and your daughter. I think of you often and wondered if you got another Yorkie baby! Your Baby is a sweetheart and it broke my heart when you said she slept next to her new bed! We see heartbreaking things like this in rescues ... it takes love & patience, as I'm sure you know. It takes quite a while for some of them to trust but it's so heartwarming when they do. What a wonderful experience for your little girl to witness!! God bless you for rescuing little Baby and please keep us updated.
