Hi Everyone,

I know it's been a while since I've posted. Things have been very chaotic with home renovations, work and taking care of Tika. I had pretty much given up on adopting another Yorkie as there always seemed to be some obstacle like money ... distance ... the fact that I have a 6 year old child ... my location.

Well a beautiful 12-year-old little girl named "Baby" came into my life a few days ago when I received a call from a local shelter. "Baby" was scheduled to be put down before she was rescued. They didn't want a penny from me, only the peace of mind that she would be in a good home.

She has been sleeping beside a very cozy, comfy, soft bed I bought her on the hardwood floor. I guess she's not yet accustomed to being "pampered." She is a little bit afraid and starts barking and howling sometimes right out of the blue. Tika is very jealous but I'm sure will get over it in time.
