| New Member Hello everyone! My name is Becca. I'm a new owner of a teacup Yorkie named Timmy! I need all the tips I can get about keeping him healthy. He's 3 years old and has been a used as a breader. Apparently he has been in a kennel a lot of his life because he is extremely timid around people. Anything i can do to get him warmed up and not so shy? Look forward to hearing back. Becca |

Donating YT 10K Club Member | A lot of love and patience will bring him around. Introduce him to people slowly...I think it would be best if he came to them instead of someone trying to win him over instantly. It's wonderful he's found a forever home with you.... Btw, is that Elizabeth City...NC?

| Welcome to YT! You will learn a lot here. He's lucky to have you and rescuing him from the kennel where it sounds like he didn't get much love and attention. Just be consistent with your affection and attention to him and he will definitely come around!!

| Give plenty of hugs and kisses!!! Blackjack was a little timid at first when I got him, but it didn't take him long to fit right in and not as timid now. |
