|  Meet Kawi (Kawasaki) Hi everyone, I just found this site and have spent most of the morning looking around reading everything. All very interesting stuff. Nice to find a site all about Yorkies. This is Kawi, he is 11 weeks old. My husband got him for me last Tuesday, so he is still new  . The place where he got him told him that he was a yorkie teddybear mix. Has anyone else heard of this mix? He's a good little guy and already has my heart!! The only problem we are having is going outside. It's so cold out he just wants to sit on my shoes. I tried to make him a sweater but I'm not that talented . Does anyone know of somewhere to buy very cheap dog clothes. I found a couple at Target for $2.50 but they aren't very warm. I don't have a whole lot of money laying around, been a hard month. I have 4 boys (8,6,3,8 months) and they have all had the flu for the past week. ickkkk So any suggestions would be great |

Never heard of the name they gave your little guy-teddy bear mix??? Is he papered?? If so I don't know what they're talking about. Some call the short nose ones teddy bear faces or baby doll face. Could that be what she said?? Any way he is adorable. Dawn

| It's a Yorkie Thing Donating Member | Oh forgot to say to keep checking at Target for clothes. They always have the dollar section.. but also check Wal-mart - the clothes there are about $6-8 dollars each. Try to watch for clearance stuff. Good luck!

| They wrote all his info on a note card. My husband found the people from an add in the paper. He was my bday present so he did it all on his own. I am a much more detailed person than he is . There has been alot of talk of Teddybear puppies around here. My parents actually just bought 2 Teddybear puppies 2 weeks ago. I think that they are bichon frise and shih tzu but I am not at all positive. My boys adore him but Kawi is very shy. When I took him to the vet she said that we need to socialize him, get him around other dogs. Don't know if that will work but it's worth a try. We will see what happens. Heather & Kawi |
