Mia's other friend? Tiger - our Devon Rex cat - is in heat. Doesn't bleed, but about every other month becomes VERY friendly, rolling around, cooing (just like a pigeon). She can't stand Mia and Mia LOVES her and wants to play all the time. Well, she came into heat and decided Mia's attention is better than no ones! This breed of cat is very unique. Long, tall and SKINNY like a cheetah or tiger and do not have 'cat' hair. They are hypoallergenic and have VERY short, wavy down - almost like the under coat of a rabbit. Tiger is 7 and weighs just over 6 lbs. They are very doglike, play fetch, come when called and LOVE to snuggle. Poor Mia, when Tiger is no longer in heat she'll lose her playmate again!

Hee hee. That is pretty unique, I still can't believe a cat and a dog can get along! :P

How wonderful! I can just see in that 2nd picture that Tiger is really enjoying the attention: he's doing that scratch-and-eye-wince thing cats do when they're being petted. Is Tiger kind of wild when he's not in heat? I saw a show on pet TV one time that featured his breed and it showed them doing some of the most amazing things! But they also said these kind are really active and semi-domestic? Or do I have him confused with another breed?
