We'd just moved into our house here when we got Amelia, so I was still painting, etc. I was painting our living room late one night and had closed the pets out while I was doing so. After I was done, I got up to stretch & opened the door to the hallway where the pets were curiously waiting. As soon as I did, Miss Amelia bounded between my legs into the living room and hopped her happy little self RIGHT into my bucket of paint.....The groomer had to shave her down almost completely.

Okay, now thats a great story! Im sure it was not funny at all when it happened but I bet you get a laugh out of that now! I could only imagine the look on your face!

OH MY GOODNESS!!!! I'd have HAD to pitch a fit on that one!!! and no way would I have paid them!! they'd have been giving me something!!! like an apology and explanation!! my sister has a Bishon,, she took in and came back in 2 or 3 hours to pick her up,, it was HORRIBLE what they'd done that baby,,shocked her so,, she paid,, then walked around,, then went back, ,and they gave her a big apology and full refund Plus!!
and as for us, now if ours get a bad cut,, no one to blame but ourselves,, as we've had it and are learning to do our girls ourselves,, new clippers get here tomorrow!! Daisy Look Out!! she'd getting a big trim!

I really should have went and got a refund. But a lot of people who seen Boots were in total shock at the cut. An the 1s with dogs said they would never ever use her. So I guess she got a bad reputation, and she soooooo deserved it.

Well after seeing her with NO hair in her ears, I decided I would never go with hairless ear again. seh didnt suit her big ears, i think the hair hides them very well.

Well thanks, didn like it, but i do have to say, it was awsome to take care of, they never needed to be combed, and i did deceide to keep Apollo on the short side for a while, but kinda trying to train a new groomer, and we wanting a Eddie haircut, which i just love ! Realy like our new groomer, but maaan she does not know how to groom a yorkie exept giving them a schnauzer cut want to give her a chance !

Awww.............I think Lucy looks adorable!!! You would not know that she had a bad haircut!

[my baby Sadie]

Sadie's first haircut came b/c she likes to eat bugs. One morning, the weekend we moved into our new house, Sadie starts to eat this bug. Well DH sees it and panics. He thumps off the BLACK WIDOW SPIDER and we rush her to the vet. They had to shave half of her face to watch for the bite mark which will not appear for a couple of hours. Well the spider didn't actually bite (he couldn't get through all of her hair) so we were lucky. To help her face i took her to the groomers who "evened it out"
Sadie wouldn't even let me take her picture as you can see below! DH thought he brought the wrong dog home!

1. Please don't take my picture!
2. I'm not even going to look at you!
3. before with the half shaved face before the Really bad haircut.

In the end, I will take an ugly haircut than a spider bite anyday!

I think the short cut is great also. It is so easy to manage. You really dont have to do anything only give them a bath. But am trying my best now to let mines coats grow out.
