Pixie hasn't had a bath in almost 2 weeks...it's cold, she's tiny...she has a wash & brush up..thats enough to keep her look tidy! she's a naturalist too most of the time..she loves too prance about naked!

I saw this subject line and thought, "Oh no! Please don't be another puppy abuse confession!"

Then I saw that the OP was MyFairLacy and thought, "well if it is, our resident vet student must have suffered a serious traumatic brain injury (probably the blunt force, closed head type)...which would partially excuse the behavior, but would also make it unlikey that she'd be online posting."

Then it dawned on me that she probably was involved in the bust of a huge puppymill, and was confessing that she has personally adopted 347 yorkies, can't bear to part with a single one, and is looking for a bigger place to live!

That seemed the most likely story...so I clicked...and what did I get? Puppy abuse!

lol that's okay, we have all been there. Sometimes i am too busy to bathe them, i try to bathe them once a week but with 3 it can get hard sometimes, so sometimes they will go 1 1/2 wk w/o a bath. I finally bathed the girls yesterday i think after 2 weeks lol London's skin is dry anyway so i can't even bathe her too much. Teddy is the one that needs the most baths cause when he pees he gets it all over his tummy most of the time, its yucky!!

I read someone write that they heat up the towels so that they are nice and warm when they get out. I haven't done that but i think its a good idea. It's super cold here too, even in the house!

I normally ALWAYS bathe them at least once a week, and Lacy normally wears clothes every day...

Seriously though, give that girl a bath and dress her already, then post pictures....lots of them cause I love seeing her all dressed up with her adorable outfits. Pictures Please!!!!!

in the winter theres no point of bathing them often so mine get baths every 2 -3 weeks when its nasty out

HaHa....I think she's actually enjoying being dirty and naked

I KNOW Rylie is..he hates baths.

I'm not sure why this got moved to the picture forum LOL...I didn't post any pictures in this thread.

Well, I've got a project I have to work on this afternoon, but when I get home they are getting good baths! And Lacy is even going to get a hot oil treatment. Maybe I'll take pictures of them together and post later

When Peanut was still alive, I would put him in the shower with me once a week. Does anyone else let their Yorkie shower with them?

I've done it a few times because it is easy, but they prefer the shallow bath.
