He had liver cancer and we only found out that he had it on Monday....he had only shown signs of being really sick over the weekend. He wad diarrhea once when this first began (Easter day), but I didn't think anything else about it because I gave him canned pumpkin and it didn't happen again until he got very sick over the weekend. We were told Friday night (ER vet) and Sat. morning that he probably had cancer, but we didn't get the definite diagnosis until Monday and he was already fading EXTREMELY quickly. | |

| By the way....thank you for saying that he looked happy....I hope that he truly was. I have questioned myself so much and so has my husband. I know it's because we feel so broken, but I wish that we had more time to redo certain things. |

| Tammi, I am so, so sorry. Harley was such a beautiful little boy. Knowing what I do about you, I am certain that Harley was a really happy boy who felt very loved and secure. Hearing this makes me so very sad.

| I'm so sorry for your loss and yes, I really do believe he was a happy boy. And as much as the loss is heartbreaking, I'm glad that he did not linger and suffer a long time. Remember what a blessing he was to your family and how lucky you all were to have him in your life even though that time was much too short but then you know, no matter how long we have them, it's always much too short.... |
