| Update on Pixie and Bogey I'll do 2 separate threads so I can do pictures, too.... Pixie first She's doing well. She sometimes limps a little like her legs are hurting her, but she is recovered from all surgeries and is able to walk just fine. She does have some arthritis, but I think other than that, she's just fine. She's still got problems with her collapsing trachea, but the steroids seem to be doing it for her. I just wish they weren't hurting the rest of her while helping her throat. She's silly as ever... still acts as if she's queen of the universe. I cleaned out the hamster's cage today, she was in heaven getting to see the hamster. I know she just wanted to get her teeth on him though - she's our little mouser. Let's see... Pictures! 1. Last night, she was sleeping with her head under the counter, tongue sticking out, and making all sorts of racket. I just couldn't resist snapping a shot. 2. Pixie getting her bath and getting all groomed up today. 3. Freshly Groomed Pixie! See next post for Bogey's update and photos... it's well worth the read!

| Bogey's news So some of you may remember after our house burned and we lost Baby Caddo about a year ago, I took in an adult yorkie.... Bogey. This was just a match made in heaven... It truly was. There's no way he just "happened" into our lives at the time he did. At the time, we didn't even have a house... but I felt the tug to get him... and I somehow convinced my husband to agree (Though I admit he thought I had completely lost it!). I didn't quite understand what was "wrong" with him - you know? I decided something had to be wrong for those people to want to give up their adult yorkie. How can you not be in love with your yorkie and not want to keep it forever? So I decided there was something wrong.... But I couldn't figure out what, so I jumped in, drive to Oklahoma, and brought Bogey home. It was the best decision I've ever made. Or one of them anyway. He graduated from beginner training some time ago - he graduated Validogtorian. But he *loved* it! He loved to work, he loved to learn, and he absolutely loved going to school. So I put him in the next class - the click-a-trick class. He graduated tonight from Click-a-trick. And he still loves it. He just wags his tail and waits for the next command. He's adorable.... Also, for being such a good dog... yes, I know, there was NOTHING wrong with him... I decided I'd take him to the nursing home over Christmas and let him brighten some people's days. He couldn't go Christmas because of other pre-planned activities at the nursing home, but he did have the opportunity to go: He's a hit, and he's now the pet therapist at Estates of FW Healthcare Center. And even better, he loves every minute of it! He just wags his tail and waits for the next person to pet him. He goes and visits in the "family room" and goes person to person to soak up the attention, then he goes and makes special room visits for bedridden dog lovers. He has really soared. He's very happy, and he's made lots and lots of people happy. I can't imagine life without my Bogey now! Yes, yes, on to the pictures! 1. Bogey getting his bath today. 2. Freshly washed Bogey - ready for graduation! 3. At school, we did paw painting for graduation. This is the picture of him by his artwork (and no, he didn't write his own name, he hasn't learned that yet! But he did do the *rest* of the artwork!) 4. Graduation photo

| LOL Bogey's doing well. He's getting a social education... and he's much better about leaving the girls (and hopefully Rocky, too) alone. He's also better about understanding "This is indoors, I can't mark here." He's never had a problem with peeing in the house, but he was having a hard time at the pet stores and such. Now he's getting it! Yay! Though to contribute to this, Cinnamon's out of heat (and soon to be fixed we hope!), and Pixie's fixed, and Jubilee's not quite there yet. So he doesn't have anyone to drive him nuts right now and make him.... excited?
