Adorable! I'll bet you're a hero around your house. What a great fit.

Looks like his ears are trying hard to stand up! You might try trimming the hair off them to help out if they don't stand up soon. Some people also tape them to get them to stand up.

I'm not sure at what age you worry about that, but I'm sure your breeder will know.

It's been a roller coaster week with him, that's for sure. I forgot what having a puppy was like!

I had to take him to the vet on Thursday after two nights of mucousy poop and him being weary of eating after. He would eat, but not until later in the day.

The vet said he has Colitis, which could be from stress, eating something weird, etc. I had to switch his food to chicken and rice for 1 week and he's on 1 week of Amoxy Drops (pink bubblegum smelling stuff.) That night was a doozy, he had a major accident in his cage (change of diet and medicine.) But, I believe it has constipated him a little now, as it should. I will be switching his food per the Vet's orders after 5 days.

Anywho! When I woke up this morning his left ear was standing straight up and it has been all day long. His right ear is trying so hard and sometimes it stands up, but it's bent over a little bit. When he was sleeping last night though I looked over and he had both ears straight up somehow!

I found out today that he does not like the pee pads with pheramones, so I have to find some non-pheramoned pads. He wouldn't go NEAR them and pee'd all over, lol.

We name him Brody .

Welcome to YT.....my goodness gracious.....what a cute puppy. I am still searhing for number two. I have been looking for the perfect second dog for the last year. Im to picky.......I had found one but they were asking to much for him, plus I would rather have another girl because of accidental unwanted pregnancies

My Peanut gets collitis and has to be on a strict diet all the time so I can understand where you are coming from. Science diet is really bland but my vet recommended we put her on it and she has been on it for a year with one episode of collitis. Thats great since she used to have it ever other month.

Yea, he's having me switch to Science Diet Puppy afterwards. The breeder said she'd never had that happen while he was there and actually recommended the Chicken and Rice before the vet did. I just took him to the vet as a precaution since he wouldn't be back in until this Wednesday.

Well I hope it works for you and your little munchkin. Let me know how it works out. There is also some special treats that you can only get at PET SMART. I dont know if they have that in your area and my little one can eat them without her getting diarrhea. Its made by Nature's Recipe, they are technically training treats but my yorkie is five lbs so its a good size for her and its easy to chew.
