THAT is my husband....and trust me, he got fussed at for that - I just didn't want my fussing to be on the video.

I apologize for anyone that might have offended - because it offended me too that my husband is so rough with Sully. I don't think my husband knows his own strength sometimes and also, how fragile Sully really is.

I'll be sure to show him your comment and let him know that it's not just me who felt that was harsh!

I loooove my baby and treat him with every respect that I would a human. To me, Sully IS my baby and I treat him like the fragile, totally loved little boy that he is. My husband loves our dog, totally, but loves him as a pet. He just doesn't understand, I guess. Maybe it's a guy thing? I don't know.

It looks like Sully had lots of fun once he was in there

I loved watching all the video's I think I noticed how much fun Sully had and didn't pay much attention to the begining of the video, I think your right Valerie, it might be a guy thing

I'm glad you didn't notice, lol.

My husband always rolls his eyes when I fuss at him and he calls me "the overprotective mommy".

But I'll tell you this: after all the tragedy at the end of June, I made sure he read ALL of those threads and it did wise him up a little bit. Now he's a nazi about making sure Sully wears a harness and not a collar and taking it off at home, etc.! So...we're at least making some progress with him! (Him=husband, not dog.) "Good boy, Eli, good boy!" - *pats husband on head.

I too read all the threads to my hubby and warned him of all the dangers, he acts like I am overprotective but it has made him more aware of the potential dangers.

I do the same thing and what is funny is I will hear him repeat it to one of te kids or their friends and then I know he is really just as protective as I am!!
