That should be okay but if she starts picking at her stitches (my girls never do), get a tiny onsie and put it on her because when they start to heal, they will itch . I am glad she is doing okay.

Thanks Dee! It looks a tiny bit more red today than it did yesterday. If it looks worse tomorrow morning, I'll give them a call just to be safe.

i bet that should be ok keeping the incision dry i think is the most important part!! just watch for any changes in the incision line!!

She's still doing great today - I'm guessing if it was going to get infected, we would have seen it by now. I can't believe she was only down a day! Amazing how they do things now.

Hello, I was just searching the threads for picutures of puppies that came from Sugars Mom and am seeing this thread for the first time. So first let me say that I am very glad everything went well with Calliope's surgery. She is a beautiful little girl. I see from Dee's reply that Calliope is from a litter by Kandy and Ceeby also? Well then, seeing a picture of Calliope will give me an even better idea as to how Toby will grow up to be. About 48 days and counting til Toby comes to his forever home.
