| Ashley. A Big Congrats to you and Smokey. Rescue is great. These dogs are special and they never forget what you've done for them. I've enclosed a picture of my little rescue. Lilly is now almost 6 months old (Same age as your guy) We got her at 13 weeks from Burlington Animal Alliance (NJ). We just had her to the vet today and she is weighing in at a whopping 3 lbs. (LOL). Anyway, just wanted to send a big congrats to you Elaine |

| Smokey is still a sweety and never stops trying to give kisses to anyone. Thank you all for your replies. It means a lot to us. I feel bad for Smokey. We are trying to spend a lot of time with him to help him through the transition so we take him everywhere. When he goes to get in the car, he stops. We have to pick him up. He is very well behaved and will just sit in the back seat nicely, but he will not get in and out on his own. Yesterday we took him to my MIL house and he started shaking when I picked him up. It dawned on me that the reason he probably does this is because he's scared he's going to yet another home. :-(
