Tiger's mom, those are some great tips.:thumbup: :thumbup::thumbup: I especially like the one about Simple Solutions in washer; I've noticed that bleach and detergent don't the remove all of the odor. Well, I haven't noticed, Joey has!

Bengi loves to play fetch and sometimes he doesn't get tired and wants to keep playing! So they other day I found a Fetch Laser in the pet section of the grocery store. You know those lasers with the red light used for pointing. Well, he loooooves it, he follows it like crazy, he runs sooo fast, and gets tired fast too! and the only thing I have to do is point the laser around!

Simple Solutions is a brand name and they make a solution that is a stain and odor remover. Lots of products say that they are stain and odor removers, but look for one that contains enzymes. These enzymes actually eat away at the protein left by normal cleaners. When all the protein is gone, the animal isn't as inclined to use this spot again for elimination. Nature's Miracle also makes a stain and odor remover that contains enzymes.

Anyone have a tip for trimming the hair from between the pads of their feet? I bought a nice little Wahl Peanut, but still have trouble getting them to be still long enough to get it. Poor Sadie is slip-sliding on the ceramic tile from too much foot hair.

That's how I used to do Toto's until .... I discovered Patrick's foam earplugs!!! They're the disposable kind that they have in the safety department and they use them at shooting ranges, etc. They are just perfect for Toto's tiny ears ... I cut one down the middle and have a pair! They are so easy to put in .... you just roll them between your thumb and forefinger until they're about the size of a wooden match stem and then immediately put it as far in the ear canal as it will go. It poofs back to normal size and won't come out until I pull it out. When she shakes her head they won't come out like the cotton did and it seems like her ears are drier. Our vet thinks that's one of the neatest ideas he has heard in a long time!

That's a great tip! Bella had an ear infection one time and now i am worried about water in her ears. I tried cotton and she shook it out. Thanks.....these are all great!

A small ear infection was what sent me on my mission to find a way to bathe Toto without worrying about getting water in there! These plugs are just perfect .... they also keep her from hearing all those distracting noises during bath time. She is one of those who likes to dry wrapped in two or three warm towels and with the plugs in, she sleeps like a little lamb until I'm ready to unwrap her! ;)

My vet gave me eardrops which makes any water in the ear evaporate. I just put a drop in each ear after her bath... just to be safe.

zac wont let the vet clip his nails he goes mad flipping off the table and biting but he will now let me do it and is really good, i use to put him on his back on my lap and after i cut one id tell him what a good boy he was and lift him up and give him a treat, i did the same after each nail, and after doing that a few times i stopped giving him the treat after each nail and only gave him it after i done them all, hes good as gold now when im doing them but still wont let the vet lol:D
congratulations on that. That is the only thing I have a problem with kizzy about. I have to take her to the vet. once two held her while the dr cut her nails and she still scratched the girl on the face and arm pretty good and the last time, they just had to put a muzzle on her. The vet said she had the fastest mouth in the south. lol and I'm scared to do maggies because their so small so I just take them both to the vet and let them do it. But your tips sounds good for those brave enough to try that. LOL, I'm not.
