wow hard to tell but I'm thinking I was right and he is rotti/spaniel. Lucky is smaller than yours and he's getting up there in age so he is a bit of a butterball. But they look a lot a like. By the way congrats on your marriage.

Awww he does look just like Taya! Taya's actually pretty fat now too- she always eats all Roo's food! How old is he? I'm not positive that that's her mix but that's what the animal shelter told me. She's definitely got some spaniel in her and I'd say pretty sure about the rot but she may have something else too. Is Lucky good with people? Taya is terrified of strangers and we have to muzzle her bc she's been known to bite =( but I love her to death and she's so sweet with Roo- lets her sleep on Taya's bed and eat out of her dish etc. I just love how sweet my pups are =)

Thanks for the congrats- just wishing it would stop raining out here- we're at this gorgeous resort with tons of fun stuff to do and it hasn't stopped raining since some time last week!!! yuck!

Lucky is 8 years old, my sister found him on the side of the road on her street when he was about 8 weeks old and I fell in love with him so she let me take him. He loves people but does not care for other dogs except Sadie our rotti.

I have been to Locust Grove.. The lake you have is very nice. I love the wooded setting there too.

I have been to Charlottesville many times. My dd was in UVA for about 2 weeks when she was little. I grew up in Madison Heights so I wasn't to far away.

Someone mentioned Woodstock.. I live in Winchester... I wanted to move to Woodstock but we ended moving to Winchester.

As for the hussle and bussle..... LOL well that doesn't apply to most of Va.

I live in Arlington,VA.Im getting my puppy feb 9th.he will be 12 weeks.i cant wait to pick him up.hope to meet some of you and your yorkies in the future

hi fellow virginian....I live outside of Charlottesville va. near Wintergreen Ski Resort....we have a beautiful little girl yorkie named Chiffon and will be going to Georgia soon to pick up another little girl yorkie. We also have three mini doxies {black and rust}....and one huge yellow lab ,,,all are females and really sweet.

I have three furbabies. Max is our male. He is the color of Reeses cups and is a little over 3 lbs.. Twinkie is our female. She my beautiful steel and blonde baby, who is also a little over 3 lbs.. Mocha is our female Biewer, who is a whopping 2.5 lbs.
