Inactive Account | Newbie needs a good vet in NYC + insurance (yes/no?) Hi, I'm new to this site. I've been searching for a Vet in my area but am unsure what to expect. Anyone know of a affordable Vet? A second part to this question...anyone have pet insurance what would you recommend? Sorry if i'm all over the place... Thanks for any help you can send my way. :-) |

| PetPlan is a good insurance, but doesn't cover your routine type visits.

| I just got Embrace pet insurance about a week or so ago. Haven't used it yet, but the draw for me was they pay a percentage, as opposed to a set amount, and they also cover genetic conditions/illnesses. You can get a plan for routine visits I believe.
