| ![]() We are lucky to be in some lovely country. People who travel to Reading, PA for Yorkie Day also should know about these: Other fun activities in Berks County for Yorkie Day weekend: All day Friday into the evening: Green Dragon Farmer’s Market - Food and goods produced by the Amish in the beautiful, scenic Lancaster countryside. Walk with your dogs and sample the ice cream, baked goods and local produce and see the handcrafts. The Green Dragon Sunday – Clover Hill and Calvaresi Wineries. Local award winning wineries a short drive from the Sheraton. Sunday – Adamstown, PA Antiques capital of the US! Shupp’s Grove (where Lee and Leslie Keno from Antiques Road Show got their start) is where you can walk your Yorkie and see the antiques and collectibles in the shade of the huge old oak grove. Food and fun from 7 am. Also many indoor antiques shops and malls, such as the famous Renningers and Stoudt’s Black Angus all with in a very short distance. Shupps Grove, the pickers market where real deals still happen So you see, there is a lot more to do than just come and go... plan to stay over night and do some of these activities... we're happy to have you all excited about Yorkie Day! Marilyn PS Intercourse is not fat but there are several campgrounds much closer. Maple Grove is one very close to Reading. |

| ![]() Thanks! They look easy to make, but I don't own a sewing machine. Everything I try sewing by hand falls apart. LOL

| ![]() We always spend July 4th in Edinboro, PA. This year, I'm making Gus an Uncle Sam costume for the 4th. Would it be silly to bring it for this? |
