Can't wait to meet all the YTers at Yorkie Day. There are going to be some contests - costume, most glamourous, lookalike, talent... Get your pups ready to participate!

Donations have been coming in and the raffle baskets are better than ever. There will be a pet photographer, a vet doing microchipping, vendors selling stuff!

We have a 3 hour drive from Long Island and are staying at the Sheraton - thankfully, they are pet friendly and are not charging the extra fee to have our babies with us. If anyone wants to stay overnight, you can get the Rescue's rate.

Hi Heidi, This will be my first time coming. It looks like I will be coming alone with my little guy, Skipper. I have contacted Donald cause I did not send the reg form. Im real excited to see what all takes place. Sounds so exciting!! Hopefully I will meet you while I am there.

the festivities begin at 12:00 -- in order for YTers to find each other, maybe we should have some kind of meeting point or we should wear something so that we can find eachother. any ideas?

It looks like I'll be coming by myself as well. Last year, I had 3 family members along, but they are not as interested this year. I didn't sign up for the dinner, because I wasn't sure if they could come or not. But I do plan on getting Maxwell's photo taken. We really enjoyed the shots they did of him last year as a puppy!

Can't wait! We could put YT on our name tags.

I have a suggestion for the future.....I actually do embroidery and we could have t-shirts that say YT.

This Year we could all wear the same color shirt...

Maybe our dogs can wear the same color bandana, because I'm sure we all won't be paying attention to the people with so many yorkies around.

well you can most likely just go to a department store. Or just cut it out of material...hmmm

I Love to sew... Maybe I could make them and put Yorkie Talk or if you want your dogs name on the the bandanna..... what does everyone think? we will need a color and I will get the stuff....I will just ask to cover the cost if you are pleased.

I spoke to Donald (not sure who he is but he was a contact person), he said there are about 75 people.

I just wanted to let the group know we are planning all kinds of fun for Yorkie Day - new contests and auction items such as a round trip by air for two anywhere in the US! What great prizes!
We always have so much fun at Yorkie Day - indoors in a ballroom with our dogs... how often do you get to do that?
The hotel is rescue friendly too. You can stay overnight, swim in the pool, and then go shopping at the Outlets.
Tell your friends to make a date to come to Yorkie Day. Do it now.

I just sent in my registration today. I think the bandannas are a great idea. I would be willing to pay someone to make Murphy one. I can't sew and I can never find one that is small enough to fit him.

Pick a color and cut one out of fabric, or purchase a human bandana.
This site has the measurements to cut for different sizes.

I was able to change my appointment from the 11th of july.. so looks like I can plan on going... wondered if anyone knows how far away this is if we stayed in intercourse at the campground.. we have stayed there before and it had interent..lol and was nice.. any idea's anyone let me know.. thanks
