I got the mail today and there was a card in there from Lexxi's neurologist office...I knew what to expect but when I opened it and started reading, the tears just flowed. Her dr and his techs all wrote something and I know they all meant what they said. They really knew Lexxi and they took care of her so much when she had to stay after her seizures or if we had to board her in nursing while we were busy. They would always give her back to us and say "awww she is so sweet" and I knew they meant it everytime. OMG I'm crying again-I haven't done this in a few days now.
We miss our Lexxi...I truely cannot wait to pick up the new baby because I miss having a white furball around here and I know she will just bring us good memories. I can't wait to see what characteristics of Lexxi this new "angel" will carry! I really feel that a part of Lexxi will be in her

She is truely a gift to us....
Anyway, just wanted to get my feelings out....I suddenly felt overwhelmed with sadness.....

Your new baby will show you that life must go on..she will give you something to look forward to..i know no dog could ever 'replace' her but she will help you to heal and move on x
I'm also looking for a new baby..Heidi would have wanted me to love another i'm sure of that...a new chapter is unfolding for both of us xxx

OMG...You just shared with me. Your pain must be unbearable... I know mine is. These little guys just are so wonderful. I cared for my little Duke when he was just 3 months old and they said he wouldn't live so I know all about the syringe feedings and long nights. I pray your pain will lessen and your other babes will comfort you. You will be in my prayers.

We are so sorry for you your heartbreak. Loosing someone or something that we love is so very hard, but you must know that she is in a better place now. If it helps at all, our Lexie is going to have a litter of puppies in mid-July, so your Lexxi will be thought of and pryed for at that time as well as now for all of you. If you need anything, ay support, you have all of us here...we will listen.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Your story really touched me, as I am getting a puppy with Hydro soon. I have been reading and researching to learn all that I can. She is 4 weeks old now.

I first learned of this puppy through Jake's breeder, who I've remained in touch with and consider a good friend. She just mentioned her to me and said she was blind in one eye. I saw her picture and for some reason that I can't explain, I knew that I wanted her no matter what. Today, the vet told her that the baby has Hydro, but my husband and I talked about it, and we've decided to still take her because we want to make her happy for as long as she's with us. I know it will hurt in the end, but I just want to try and make everyday special for her.

I will keep you in my prayers. You gave Lexxi a good life, and she knows she was very much loved.
