| My Gizmo died 4 weeks ago. My grief was horrible. He was only 7 and I wasn't prepare for him to leave me. I found this site that very night. It has helped tremendously mainly because the posters on here understand and some really care. The next thing I am going to say may not be for you but it has helped me a lot. I have found a dependable breeder with a litter due in May and I am now preparing to bring a new y baby home in the summer. This gives me something to keep my mind on and to plan for. This new baby will not in any way replace Gizzie, but it will be wonderful to get to know a new little friend and care for her.

| I am so, so sorry for your loss of your dear baby. Having lost a beloved pet myself, I know the pain and grief you are feeling right now. It is a sense of helplessness and "what if's"...but the "why's" we may never know. Please live in today...remember your baby in yesterday and the happy times you had together, treasure those memories and they will get you thru...and look forward to tomorrow when someday, you will be able to give another yorkie baby a forever home in your heart. Your baby would want you to go on and love again, but only when you are ready. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this painful time in your life.

| I'm so sorry for your loss. I know how hard it is to lose a little doggie, and I mourn with you. In time you'll be able to treasure the good moments you had with him, and the pain will fade.

| I am so sorry to hear of your loss. It is really difficult to go on and heal when we lose such a precious one. He would want you to be happy, so try and think of the good times you had together. I know it's difficult. Every time I look at my little Juice, picture I shake my head and still wonder why? Maybe they are both playing at the Rainbow Bridge with all of the other little ones. Hugs to you, and hope you can heal soon.

| I know exactly how you feel! Last October my first Yorkie, Daisy, freakishly got out of the house & was hit & killed instantly by a car around the corner from our house. Isn't it amazing how a little 6lb. dog can change your life? My Daisy was so loved by our family. We still miss her immeasurably. At the time of her death, I also had her son, Fitzgerald. He was lost when his Momma disappeared. At the urging of my husband, we went out & bought a new little girl. I wasn't sure I was ready as I was grieving so much. But Little Miss Roxy came home with us & carved out her own spot in our hearts. She & Fitz became immediate friends & although the loss of Daisy is still so fresh, the hurt is easing & we have so many great memories & pictures of her! We talk about her alot & remember all the joy she brought to all our lives. In that sense, she will always be with us!! I would honestly suggest you look for another Yorkie. No pup will ever take the place of the one you lost, but life goes on.......make your life happy again with a new Yorkie & keep the memory of the one that passed. Good luck....... |

Donating YT 10K Club Member | I am so sorry and as someone who lost their constant companion just a few short months ago, I can completely understand. Time certainly helps, but I found getting another puppy a greater healer....not a replacement, but another to love and make you laugh. Take care....

| So sorry to hear of your loss. I just lost my almost adopted Yorkie early Monday morning. I have to force myself to get things done and I try to focus on other things. One thing I am going to do is to adopt another dog in honor of the lost Yorkie. The right time for this will be different for different people. As sad as I feel at times, the bright spot is I will be able to give another animal a safe and a good home. Time does help heal some of this...keep the faith and as already mentioned, remember the good times you had with your Yorkie.
