It is absolutely amazing yet so heartwarming to watch Sissy and Roxie care for Reggie's babies. I wish you all could see God's hand at work here. Like totally grateful for all your prayers. I think someone has been listening. Through my sorrow a bright light shines and my heart is lifted.

With having to bottle feed five, the only way I can make sure everyone gets fed is to take them out of the cage, one by one, and when they are done eating, sit them on the floor next to me. Now the other dogs are trying to help out too. Even little Leo (now Dante) is cleaning the pups. I know Reggie is smiling.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I too lost my brand new puppy this morning, 24 hours after I got him due to a terrible reaction to the vaccines he was given. You have my sympathies.

wow, im so sorry for your loss. reggie is in a better place, and one day you will see her again. for sure you should keep one of her babies. its so sweet how all the dogs are helpping out too. prayers for you and reggie. HUGS!!!!!!!

Thank you so much. Prayers have really helped. The girls are thriving and now have yet another substitute mommy.........Dante. He's been right there in the cage with Roxie, cleaning away. Just amazing how much extra care these little girls are getting, things I can't provide!

I have been doing pretty good, keeping very preoccupied with the babies, but your wonderful message took me back a step and the Niagara Falls flowed again. The girls are doing great, Reggie gave them such a good start. And with Sissy, Roxie and now Dante pitching in, they are giving them so much more than I ever could. Thank you so much.

Watch for pics of her babies next week, maybe even sometime this week, after they open their eyes. We're still working on names for them. So far we're come up with Star, Bella, and maybe Kitten. One of them sounds so much like a little kitty.

Reggie was our first yorkie. We got her from our friends in FL, Richard and Gail. That's how she got her name...R & G, Reggie. She was the first born in a litter of 4. Her sisters Megan and Miram grew to 4 and 4.5 pounds, her little brother, Boomer was a whopping 2.5 pounds. Reggie didn't realize she was supposed to stay small. She just kept growing to over 8 pounds. We had a ChowChow and my husband was worried about how he would treat her. I said, he will either love her or eat her! Sure enough, he loved her.

She was the best mommy there could be. When she was in heat in January, I said this would be her last litter as she is 7 and was getting a little on the cranky side. Little did I know that not only would this be her last litter, that she would be gone forever.

Reggie was so smart and expressive, you would have sworn that there was a person trapped inside her body. She had to be near me or on me all the time. When she had her first litter, I was on the computer and she was sitting at my feet. Sure enough, she gave birth to her first born, Sassy, right there on my foot. She traveled with us quite often when she was young. If I had to leave her, she wouldn't eat and would sit at the door and cry until I got back. She was a great mouser, much better than any cat we ever had. She loved to be brushed and would lay on my lap 24/7 if that was possible. She smiled when you rubbed her belly. As she got older, like me, she would sleep with her mouth open.........God, please take good care of my girl. I know you have plans for her or you wouldn't have taken her from me already.

Reggie, my love, my life, you will be in our hearts forever. Give my mom a big kiss for me. Goodbye by baby. I will be with you again someday.

OH MY. I am so sorry for you. She was small to me for such a big litter of puppies. I wouldnt breed Kizzy if she was 10 lbs. I would be too scared. But I've never cared to breed puppies. I just like to have one as my baby. I lost a daughter to heart disease and I know pain. Kizzy has really kept me company.
It hurts to lose anything you love so much.

The girls are doing great. Two of them opened their eyes today. With the help from Sissy, Roxie and Dante, they have so much good care, much more than I could ever give them. My batteries went dead and won't recharge so I will have to get new ones this week so you can see these little angels.

They now have names. Faith, Hope, Love, Charity, and Star. I don't know who will get what name yet, probably decide that tonight. One of them has a small white star on her chest, she is Star or Starlite. Beyond that, I'm not sure yet. Have to make sure I can tell them apart first. The girl we keep will be officially known as Garlin's Angle Baby (and the name).
