Dear Fran,
You did not pick a bad day to find this list, what better way to share your sorrow than with people that understand what it means to loose a furry friend. The pain is real and it hurts more than anyone can ever explaine. It does not seem like it now but it will get better and the hurt you are feeling now will turn into very happy memories. Still you will have tears even sometimes years after but it will get better. Give yourself the time you need and then fill your hart with some new puppy kisses.
I deal with this on a regular basis as I have a grooming shop and have cryied with my clients when they loose their beloved pets, Some of the dogs I groom are like part of my family too.
When I lost my dog of 12 years I was reminded by a good friend to ask God to lift the pain....I ask and he did.....I will ask for you too.

My heart and tears are with you. Please stick around with us. This group is fabulous. They will share your tears, send you hugs, listen when you want to talk, and then make you smile. Just take it day by day. I am so very sorry for the pain you are feeling.

Hi Fran, no you didn't pick a bad day to find this group, this is actually a great day to find this group. I'm sorry about your loss. The people on this forum are a wonderful bunch of human beings, many of whom I have spoken with or met personally. I too, lost my baby last December and in fact, just a few minutes before I logged on, I was looking at her ashes and crying a river. The folks on this forum helped me through the grief (and continue to do so) and were my only source of comfort. Your baby was lucky to have you for so many years. There is nothing that will give you as much comfort and happiness as treasuring the wonderful memories that you have of your puppy. I didn't believe that when I first lost Tinkerbell 2 1/2 months ago, but trust me when I tell you, right now what keeps me happy and makes me smile are wonderful memories of her. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Mia

Dear Fran, I have been thinking of you so much and praying that you are doing okay. I know how difficult it is, please know that my husband and I have you on our prayer list. It was four months yesterday that our Cassie left us, part of our heart went with her as I know part of yours did with Pandora. By the way, I love the name you chose for her. I had a Grannie named Dora. Please, if you ever need someone to talk to just PM me. I pray that the Lord will help heal everyone's heart that has lost a pet. RIP Pandora Kind Regards, Patti, Jack and ~~Baby Blessing~~

YOu have no idea how much I appreciate you all. I am hanging in there but boy is that house quiet. I have her ashes back and that gives me something physical of her. I still can't make myself take up her food and water bowls yet but I did wash and put away her blankets. Baby steps I guess. Anyway thanks to ya'll sooooooo much.

I am so sorry for your loss it is a really hard time when you loose someone you love so much. I lost my little Rob in Jan after a long illness and miss cuddleing him and the loverly smell they have.I find yorkie talk a help to be able to talk about your little one to others that know what you are going through.
Good wishes and prayers

Fran, I am so sorry about Pandora. I know it's like losing a child..my Koko was 16yrs and I think about him every day. It will get easier as time passes. Remember she is with you in spirit. How lucky she was to have you as her mom. Take care.

I just caught your post this morning as I haven't been able to get on for a while. I share your grief with you and having experienced the loose of my fur baby after 15 years with her, "I totally understand your grief." It feels like someone just tore your heart out and you actually don't care much about anything at the time. Please know it will get better and believe that your baby is waiting for you when the time comes. This separation is temporary and when you meet again it will be for eternity. Your baby is at rainbow bridge now playing and looking down at you. Look up to your baby and with a smile say, "Have fun sweet one, until then......" I love and miss you.....
God Bless you both......
