Hi Fran, no you didn't pick a bad day to find this group, this is actually a great day to find this group. I'm sorry about your loss. The people on this forum are a wonderful bunch of human beings, many of whom I have spoken with or met personally. I too, lost my baby last December and in fact, just a few minutes before I logged on, I was looking at her ashes and crying a river. The folks on this forum helped me through the grief (and continue to do so) and were my only source of comfort. Your baby was lucky to have you for so many years. There is nothing that will give you as much comfort and happiness as treasuring the wonderful memories that you have of your puppy. I didn't believe that when I first lost Tinkerbell 2 1/2 months ago, but trust me when I tell you, right now what keeps me happy and makes me smile are wonderful memories of her. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
