| Missing our sweetie has been hard. We will never be able to replace her, but hope soon to have the pitter patter of happy little paws in our home again. I'm sure we'll be sharing many of our Katy stories with the new pup. |

| I am 57 and have had dogs all my life. I remember and miss every single one of my four legged friends. Unfortunately with the life spans they have the pain is inevitable. But even with all the pain I have gone through in losing them, the joy they brought to my life has been greater by far. I hope I brought half the happiness to their lives as they did to mine.

| The day I got my Tibbe, it had been 5+ years since my special little Jilly passed. It took a long, long time to ready myself for another dog. I spent part of that evening, little Tibbe in my arms, missing my Jilly terribly, finally to the point of boohooing. Had forgotten I had that new little life in my arms, now totally dependent on me and needing me responsibly loving and stable for his sake. I quickly tried to make a game of it, making that sound of fake crying as I rolled him over & tickled his tummy, started kind of roughhousing him. Little terrier that he was, he took the bait and started playing back, happy and feisty. Apologized to him as he twisted his little head sideways, trying to make sense of what I was saying, and I told him I was far from perfect, shouldn’t have cried and promised him that would never happen again and would give him everything I could for the time we would have together. He forgave of course but that’s how much we still miss the babies we have lost. You never forget, forever love them. I still miss my Scotty and Jilly, my first two Yorkies. I always will. Tibbe of course makes me love him more every day of his life, bless him. Scary how much I love that little Yorkie!

| Sorry, never could share that story before now, after having Tibbe for 11 years now. There's more to that story: I still have to make that fake boohooing sound when we play that roughhouse game as that first night he formed the good association that that funny sound I made holding him could also mean great, rough fun, just the way he most loves to play! And anytime I might really cry in sadness, bless his heart, he's confused as he senses something is very wrong, and wants to comfort me, but still wants to roughhouse and play very soon after! Bless, bless, bless he little heart.

| Every little one that we have had the opportunity to share time and love with has been different, unique, and such an important piece of our lives! We think of those who have passed frequently, and many a conversation that my husband and I have starts with "remember when...". They may be gone, but they are never forgotten!
